Anybody but Obama. I was for Cain, so it's down to Newt now for me. I don't like Romney, Bachmann, Perry, or that other guy, and Ron Paul can't win. I like RP's fiscal policies the best but if he's the GOP nominee, or runs 3rd Party, then Obama wins a 2nd term, guaranteed. And if Barry does get 4 more years, then all is lost. He'll get to put at least 2 more radicals on the Supreme Court, and that permanently stacks the deck for the statists.
IMO you've got it bass akwards. There's a good reason Newt hasn't been elected to office in decades. He's a guaranteed loser, which is what the GOP elites want this time around... four more years of whining about Oilbomber, and "evil" DemRATS. They have no faith whatsoever in their "solutions" so they want to blame the other guy. Truth be known, working against America and for the global elites will always be unpopular, and the D&R party is out of lies that might be believed. Ron Paul is the only one that has a good chance of beating Obummer. The D&R party elites don't want to eat their peas, or take their medicine, but there are a lot of patriotic Americans who want to restore the Republic before it becomes impossible. Ron Paul may be the only chance to accomplish that.

Ron Paul can't win the primary, his running 3rd Party is Obama's only hope. Gingrich and Romney have bad baggage but they don't have to beat Barry, he's has already beaten himself. The nation is ready to get rid of Obama and his radical agenda, 2010 proved that. Only Ron Paul, Donald Trump, or someone else splitting the vote can screw that up.
He's guaranteed to lose if he tries to run 3rd party. The election laws, ballot rules in all 50 states preclude a successful 3rd party run. As to whether Ron Paul "can't win the primary," I would suggest you disconnect from the MSM propaganda outlets (including the so-called alternatives like Hannity, Rush and Medved). The truth is, he can win. And that's why the elites are putting up a 100% backstabbing loser like Newt. The elites can easily control Newt; they can't control Ron Paul. I imagine, if Ron Paul gets the primary, there will be assassination attempts on him... NO WAY will the banksters idly sit by and allow someone like him in, to stop the theft. And I will STILL vote for him- in primaries and the main election next year. There are NO alternatives available. When you say he "can't win," I simply see that as a lack of courage. Sorry, but that's the ugly truth.
