politics and politicians Title: Ron Paul's army rises up as Palin gives Santorium? thumbs up Take it or leave it, Sarah Palin's got a following, platform and a voice in America and she chose to use it with positive comments about former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum's campaign for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination through Sean Hannity -- but will Palin's words slow down Ron Paul's momentum? Maybe she and some others don't realize that, take it or leave it, Ron Paul has an army of supporters who continue to rise up tweeting, YouTubing and shouting "Ron Paul 2012," at events and on street corners as they wave signs for the man who is ready to "Restore America." I'd be willing to bet just like the media black-out caused Ron Paul's supporters to rise up and get louder and stronger, they will also step it up for this possible future endorsement as well and agree with her when she said, "My personal endorsement probably doesn't amount to a hill of beans at this point in the race," she said to Hannity. Ms. Palin told Fox News' Sean Hannity, "If voters start kind of shifting gears and deciding they want ideological consistency, then they're going to start paying attention to say, Rick Santorum." She commented that Santorum is a, "hardliner against Iran to help protect Israel." Then on the other side, we have Texas Rep. Ron Paul who says, "Why don't we mind our own business," in reference to taking on other country's battles and therefore spending more money on endless, careless wars. Paul supports war, but only when declared as prescribed by the Constitution -- not military force when it's not necessary. He's into making sure the currency war calms down that he forewarned would come to fruition. Palin also said about Santorum, "He's been consistent in wanting to protect the most vulnerable and the sanctity of life. He's been consistent in saying we need to slash the federal income tax." Speaking of consistency, have you done your homework on Ron Paul, Sarah? As a 12-term congressman Ron Paul has consistently voted to lower congressional pay, allow gun ownership, lower taxes, keep a free internet, limit the power of the executive branch. He's been against the bailouts and against the cost of, and loss of life of the Iraq war. As president, Ron Paul plans to secure OUR borders, end foreign wars, bring the troops home, end the Fed, stop foreign aid, phase out the IRS, END the income tax which is against our Constitutional rights. Dr. Paul plans to fix health care, take a yearly salary of $39,336.00--equal to the average U.S. workers salary--instead of the $400,000 a year being pulled out of the budget now. Paul plans to abolish corporate subsidies, return spending to 2006 levels and return the power to the States as in the 9th and 10th Amendments. Santorum said he is grateful for her remarks, adding it is clear, "other conservatives are starting to rally around our message of passionate conservatism." Well, I guess Santorium hasn't heard of the Ron Paul r3VOLution, either! Although, Palin did stand up for Ron Paul on Greta Van Susteren about the media black-out. Hey, one more thing, I wonder what they're going to say when Ron Paul wins Iowa and New Hampshire?
