Does anyone else find it ironic that Americans spend the most money on new things the day after they say they're grateful for what they already have?

Most Americans were NOT shopping on your religion's sacred buying holiday called of all things "Black Friday". With nary a contrary peep heard from the Christian TeaBagger factions either.

Record 226 Million Shopped This Weekend

That looks like most to me. Unless you think there are at least 452,000,001 Americans and illegals residing in this nation.

Now tell me how this is my "religion".

Are you kidding? That includes orders from around the whole world not just the US.

A record 226 million shoppers visited stores and websites during the four-day holiday weekend starting on Thanksgiving Day, up from 212 million last year, according to early estimates by The National Retail Federation released on Sunday.

There is no way they can figure unique versus return shoppers

If that is so. Then why did you proclaim above that most Americans didn't go shopping this weekend?

I think you just like to argue.

Even by your figures, the weekend was three days, and most went each day for the new bargains that were offered each day. So we are under 100 million and you think that's a majority? of a nation over 330 million?

Mooooooo

The Times article includes websites and didn't exclude supermarkets. How many people shopped for food items only on Thanksgiving from Wallyworld, and rom other supermarkets during the next three days?. I do know I was out of milk and did go and buy a gallon.

I guess I'm a lemming too.

Moooo
