Hi Buck. I believe that the Bible is from God. Jews used their fingers to write it, but it was inspired by God. That is what I believe. Is it ok for me to believe that?
It means that they were chosen for God to deliver his message to the world through.
They are probably not humbled. Remember this though. Didn't Jesus say that he gave his life freely? Wasn't that his purpose here? If that hadn't happened would there be any grace? Since you apparently aren't a believer, you will probably not understand where I am coming from.
Just because the UN (satan) recognized them. Doesn't mean that they created Israel. Say the UN declared Israel a nation. Without the Jews on the ground fighting for the land (and buying it too) that resolution would be meaningless. And no it is not like a thief or rapist. We aren't going to solve anything to do with Israel. What is going to happen is going to happen. We're just going to have to sit back and see what happens.
What Bible? THE CATHOLIC VULGATE HELD IN SECRET FOR A THOUSAND YEARS as the priests had their way with women exerting their POWER (350-1350) OR THE GUTENBERG BIBLE BY ERASAMUS (1455)? Which one do you prefer? Or do you enjoy someone else's interpretation?

Why should I believe in a myth? How did Jesus' mother Mary give birth to Jesus if she didn't have sex with a man? You believe in faerie tales.
I have always used the King James Bible. Not that I am an expert (You folks claim I claim to be an expert, but i've made no such claim) but I haven't found any contradictions or errors in it. There is an article here by cz82 that talks about the Geneva Bible. I am going to take a look at it and see what differences there are. I don't trust the NIV version because I have found many contradictions. If it is truly the word of God there should be no contradictions. Now a question for you buckeroo. Do you think there is a God? If so do you think that the Bible could actually be his word?

How do you really KNOW that? Throughtout history many people have tried to destroy the Bible. It didn't happen though. If you read from Genesis it promises a Messiah to come. If you continue reading the scriptures you will see that Jesus was born and fulfilled many things that were prophesied to happen. That is the short version. Remember that it takes faith too.

You said you believed in evolution. That is a myth. There has never been a person born without the seed of a man and a woman. So how do you explain that from an evolutionary perspective?
It was a miracle. You will have to take it on faith. If you take the other teachings found in the Bible. Use that as your foundation. It isn't hard to believe that if there really is a God and he created us that he could have impregnated Mary supernaturally.

It is a laughable discredited theory. It isn't the purpose of Christians to battle Muslims. On Adam and Eve eating an apple. That is not a fact. It doesn't mention the fruit specifically.

What makes YOU think that even those versions are close to correct? Since you are so well read on Biblical scriptures, where was anyone during Jesus' stay on the planet writing anything about him? There was no documentation until after the crucifixion and that means, the stuff is from someone's foggy memory. And the same goes for the Torah ( The old testament) which is just a chronology of" begating" this and that person within Jewish folklore. Just like the laffable story of Abraham and Sarah fucking at 100 years old and having a child.

Actually I don't. When asked about it I tell you what I think. I think Israel is for the Jews given to them by God with certain conditions. So I do support Israels right to exist. So I believe there is a God and Israel is in his end times plan. That doesn't mean they need the United States tax money for that plan to be fulfilled. So I don't support any foreign aid save some humanitarian assistance from time to time to help people in natural disasters.
I really can't argue with that Buck. But that doesn't mean the majority is wrong about everything.

Let us look at Exodus in the Old Testament or the Jewish Torah. What makes you think all that stuff about Moses is true? The Egyptians have no documentation collaborating the myth, yet Ramses was proficient at documentation with his Egyptian priests.

I wouldn't characterize it as a myth. Especially since archeologists have documented the chariots in the Red Sea. I wouldn't expect the Egyptians to admit that they got their asses kicked by Some Hebrew God.
