It is going to bring people to his defense. That is why he is ahead of Perry in Texas now. The one not to count out is Gingrich. Its laughable anyone tries to compare his implosion to McCain, given there is nothing remotely similiar about the two other than both were in 4th place at one point in a primary race. mcCain didn't blow 22 points in all the polls in 21 days. McCain was never the 'front runner' from the moment he entered the race. A more accurate comparision would be Thompson or Guiliani in 08.
