I did an interview of the local chapter (louisville) NAACP quite a few years back and was offered my own chapter here where I live. I explained to the women that I was a 'white' lady, but she said it didn't matter who starts a chapter, as long as they collect and pay their dues.... &;-)

Nothing really new about this. I had a black friend in the 60's that was a SF SFC,and he was a card-carrying Kluxxer. He wasn't just "colored",either. He was shiny black. He'd whip his KKK card out in a minute and show it around,too.
Of course,he joined the Klan due to typical SF thinking. In other words,"Know your enemy and keep a close eye on them to know what they are saying and doing."
