Title: Occupy Veterans Movement Growing Across U.S.

Since Occupy Wall Street protests have broken out in cities across the U.S. and abroad, support has come from what might seem like an unlikely corner: war veterans.

But two of the highest-profile protesters -- each from opposite ends of the country -- had served in wars. Last week, the world watched as bleeding, dazed 24-year-old Marine Scott Olsen was carried away by fellow protesters after he was struck in the head by an object apparently fired by an Oakland police officer. And before that, Marine Sgt. Shamar Thomas was captured on video confronting a group of New York police officers he said had been too rough with protesters.

"These riot squads deploy unlawful excessive force against Americans all service members swore to protect, and many veterans have sacrificed their lives in that honor. We at OMC will not stand idly by as these cowards continue to abuse the Constitution, hurting American citizens. We will use any nonviolent means to convince law enforcement agencies to understand that brutality will only strengthen our resolve," the spokesperson said, adding that the group acknowledged that not all Marines agreed with the group's position.

We all made the same bet, ming. We all took the same oath.

What took place during our service is irrelevant.

Really? I can't imagine that someone who got shot at day in and day out comes out of the experience the same as one who sat behind a desk. Maybe it's YOU who needs to show a little empathy for those who had a vastly different military experience from your own.

Before Pluto was a dog, Pluto was a planet - think about it.

Aw, c'mon. You know that Pluto was never REALLY a planet - it was and is too small.

Probably some liberal astronomer called it a planet just so it wouldn't have an inferiority complex.

Which leads to the next questions:

1) Why did Disney create TWO retarded dogs, but only one talked?

2) So....Which one is Ming and which one is Mom?

1) I think that Pluto (the dog) was just a figment of Disney's imagination. After all, who ever heard of a Mouse having a dog for a pet?

2) I think they're the same poster playing "good cop, bad cop". (Or is it smart cop, dumb cop?)

"Occupy" Crime Wave Continues: Woman Raped, Robbed in Baltimore

11/01/2011

The national media has been disgracefully silent the past several weeks over the ugly crime wave sweeping the so-called "Occupy" protests. Numerous incidents of sexual assault and rape have been occuring and there's total silence from all the Democrats who so enthusiastically support the movement. Not a peep from "women's rights" groups, either.

How can they just sit there mute when we see incidents such as this?

Listen to the despair of this woman and wonder how much reportage we'd have seen had anyone ever been assaulted at a Tea Party rally. Instead, watch the smug "Occupiers" tell the reporter how things are handled by their crack security team.

Sure, handled just like the incident reported a couple of weeks ago.

Efforts by the Occupy Baltimore protest group to evolve into a self-contained, self-governing community have erupted into controversy with the distribution of a pamphlet that victim advocates and health workers fear discourages victims of sexual assaults from contacting police.

The pamphlet says that members of the protest group who believe they are victims or who suspect sexual abuse "are encouraged to immediately report the incident to the Security Committee," which will investigate and "supply the abuser with counseling resources."

That's really working out well, huh?

Baltimore is hardly the only hotbed for rapists. It's out of control in New York, where even a deaf man was reportedly raped.

To their credit, the New York Post has been one of the few "mainstream" outlets reporting on the ugliness in Zuccotti Park. Again, however, "organizers" are handling the rape epidemic internally.

“Pervert! Pervert! Get the f--k out!” said vigilante Occupiers, who never bothered to call the cops.

“They were shining flashlights in his face and yelling at him to leave,” said a woman who called herself Leslie, but refused to give her real name.

She said that weeks earlier another woman was raped.

“We don’t tell anyone,” she said. “We handle it internally. I said too much already.”

Rapists have also struck at Occupy Cleveland.

An “Occupy Cleveland” protester tells police she was raped in her tent over the weekend.

Cleveland police are investigating an alleged sexual assault incident Saturday at the “Occupy Cleveland” rally involving a 19-year-old female student from Parma.

Again, zero national coverage of the incident, outside of the blogosphere.

Then there was this incident in Dallas.

Dallas Police continue to investigate whether a teenage runaway was sexually assaulted by an adult male at the Occupy Dallas encampment behind City Hall.

A source within the Dallas Police Department who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation said the girl ran away from home in Garland last month and that she is now refusing to cooperate with investigators. She initially told officers that she had sex with a man in his early twenties and had engaged in sexual activity with several other people.

The girl is 14 years old.

Speaking of young kids, how much attention do you recall being paid to the man exposing himself to little kids at Occupy Seattle?

Then there was the enterprising "Occupier" up in New Hampshire who tried to pimp out a 16-year-old.

Again, mostly ignored.

Also ignoring the rapes of the occupiers? Why, none other than Baltimore native Nancy Pelosi, who recently said:

“God bless them for their spontaneity,” Pelosi told reporters. “It’s young, it’s spontaneous, it’s focused and it’s going to be effective.”

Ah, nothing like a little youthful spontaneity to take the edge off of those long, arduous days of laying around doing nothing but whining and complaining about your miserable lot in life.

While you're not busy trying to rape someone.

Update: Baltimore police are now investigating the latest incident while the "occupiers" feign concern about the lawlessness they're breeding.

Politicians are helping, not driving.

SO you're saying that the politicians "COULDN'T STOP" what is going on????

Probably not as long as corporations are persons, money is free speech, and the Court rules the 99% don't have the right to know who is speaking (spending the money).

So you're saying that some politicians aren't already part of the Wall ST/1% crowd????

I have no doubt that SOME in the upper 1% are decent people too, but that's not what we're talking about.

And you're saying that politicians "DON'T" seek election so they can become part of that crowd?????

What is really interesting are the stupid, yet hilarious, "observations" that you make Boofer.

I don't know what was funnier, Cain going out of his way to separate himself from the Civil Rights movement by claiming that he had no problem with having to drink from the "COLORED" water fountain or you trying to claim that it's the left side of the political spectrum that makes an issue of a person's military service.

Well...I voted for Susan Molinari in 1994 and Mike McMahon in 2008. But neither of them are still serving.

I'll believe that a corporation is a person 1 second after Texas executes one...

I'm not surprised you think you know 95% of politicians currently holding office suck.

I'm not the only one who feels that way....

Most of the people I know think we have a huge problem in DC, and it's not because of the supposed gridlock between the parties.... It's because they "KNOW" the country is about ready to be flushed down the toilet and they rightly blame the politicians for all the BS things they've done in the last 100 years that has brought on this crisis...... They know the politicians are selling them out for power and money... They know the politicians have done all the wrong things for political and personal gain, not for what is best for the country and it's citizens......

Number of shallow, inadequate, hypocritical Leftards who have me on BOZO---3.......... That means I'm doing my job correctly !!!!!!!!! "CHANGE" you can step in..... My dogs have created more shovel ready jobs than the self appointed Messiah!!!
