Only Mom of that list survived my cut. And yes, avoiding Leftist propaganda and insanity is good reason.

I guess the real question here is whether there are any House Commies who are willing to debate honestly without feeling compelled to coddle 0bama and make up excuses for a Leftist agenda and policies.

Ferret tries at times to scale that wall...until an internal alarm goes off and he remembers that 0bama is all about "healing the world's oceans," while the Koch Bros. and Tea Party are peeing in it. Other than him, it's slim pickings indeed.

Ever read Mike's posts? I mean REALLY read/PERUSE his posts? His political slant is on the liberal side of the political system but he condemns 0bama for many things. He has always presented a fresh and mature picture of the world around him. He doesn't cloak himself in some elected leader, either.

And there is nothing wrong with having ecology in mind, either. It shows compassion about the world around him and for everyone. He is as conservative about natural resources and financial matters as anyone not born with a silver spoon in their mouths. He is almost (in my opinion) a vivacious representative of a Jeffersonian Democrat.

Yes, I've REALLY REALLY read Mike's posts. His "condemnation" of 0bama is more like a "Aw, gee, come on bro!" rather than a, "Are you %@!#& kidding me, dammit??!"

In his defense - as I've stated - he's more willing to be pried away from partisan Dem positions than the House Commies. And he will occasionally present interesting perspectives. But I would not come close to saying that he does not defend 0bama far more than is deserved.

And there is nothing wrong with having ecology in mind, either. It shows compassion about the world around him and for everyone.

Nobody criticized him for that; However, as a Greenie, Mike certainly gave 0bama a lot of slack for his part in the Gulf Spill debacle.

I do, too.

Those government approved BP contracts for technical and quality assurance purposes were signed by a number of international corporations IRRESPECTIVE of the outcome with the USA. Deep water mining is difficult and is on the leading edge of man's methods for discovery, development and practices for the exploration of energy mining.

0bama was incapable of doing anything other than his blunder of suspending further research and contracts for this approach of and about development.

BP, for the large part and at their own expense, has restored the situation. Now, it is time for me to have my GULF SHRIMP for dinner! HHHHMMMMMM YUMMY!

It wasn't any "blunder"; 0bama was VERY capable at acting as though the spill were no great emergency.

As if he were on a Quaalude binge, this Marxist saboteur purposely sandbagged and undermined the clean up operations and purposely created a further mess by dumping millions of gallons of the toxic dispersant Corexit into the Gulf - for purely political purposes. Everyone knows he's anti-oil - except when he's busy handing the Chicoms, Brazilians, and Venezuelans the key to Gulf oil.

BP, for the large part and at their own expense, has restored the situation. Now, it is time for me to have my GULF SHRIMP for dinner! HHHHMMMMMM YUMMY!

They've done WHAT?? Oh, that's right - those ad spots they've done are fantastic! Makes it seem as though the Shrimp aren't a ticking toxic time bomb! Enjoy the scampi and please post the photos of your new third eye and a extra pair of limbs...

Here's the problem.

Across the spctrum.

"You never hear about the matter any more."

All you're describing there is your own ignorance.

You haven't heard that 4 helos were shot down last week over the Afghans....and so you'll automatically assume that since you haven't been given that info by the state it did not happen.

Consumers pretending to be citizens....8D

You will not know what hit you.

Have you heard about Jon Corzine and MFGlobal?

But I bet you've All seen Madoff's bitch and spawn on tv.

You will not know what hit you.

Have you heard about Jon Corzine and MFGlobal?

You haven't heard about Japan's 11 reactor meltdown either.

Think that's gone away?

D'you here that 5 million in the NE USSA were w/o power yesterday?

At least 3 million now?

Where?

Not here at LF. This where you get your news? Or is there a better place.

Now how could you hear about dolphin mortality from the Ecocide if the US classified it?

What if the US says it has the right to tell you the reoprt doesn't even exist?

Cause you DO know that our gov't has been under a State of EMergency since 9/11, eh?

Or did no one tell you? LMFAO 8D

Thanks for re-illuminating those occasional flashes of brilliance. Info and "news" is heavily monitored and controlled.

I was just telling a friend your same thought about not knowing what'll hit us when it does. There will be no formal warning when the banks close down.

Btw, was Bucky merely being contrarian OR does he really believe it's all a case of, "nothing to see - move along now"?

I have no fuckin' idea.

But saying that the news doesn't exist because otherwise someone would've told you is just beyond the pale.

The State Specializes in not telling you. That staement is just insane.

This latest Housing 'reform' gimmick for example. Anyone hear that once you sign up the Loan goes from Non Recourse to Recourse, meaning you can be pursued to your death to get back any and all collateral.

Of course not.

That's the way to do it, cause I hate ignorance like it's hell.

How many times have I heard growing up:

"How d'you know? You've never been there."

Which is exactly the answer/reason math teachers should give their students on why they need to know mathematical formulas....;}

"UNESCO is the first U.N. agency the Palestinians have joined as a full member since President Mahmoud Abbas applied for full membership of the United Nations on September 23.

The United States, Canada, Germany and Holland voted against Palestinian membership. Brazil, Russia, China, India, South Africa and France voted in favor. Britain and Italy abstained.

Washington is likely to cut funding to UNESCO over the vote.

"The action today will complicate our ability to support UNESCO," David T. Killion, U.S. ambassador to UNESCO, told journalists after the vote.

Chump change...

Legislation dating back more than 15 years stipulates a complete cutoff of American financing to any United Nations agency that accepts the Palestinians as a full member. Unesco — the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization — depends on the United States for 22 percent of its budget, about $70 million a year.
