Bad news for President Obama and Congress, good news for Occupy Wall Street. A New York Times/CBS poll finds that distrust of government is at its highest level ever, with 89 percent of Americans saying they distrust government to do the right thing, 74 percent saying the country is on the wrong track, and 84 percent saying they disapprove of Congress.
The poll also found that 43 percent of Americans say that wealth should be distributed more evenly in America.
Asked specifically about the Occupy Wall Street protests, 25 percent of Americans said they had a favorable impression and 20 percent said they had an unfavorable one.
