Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pushed back on Republican critics such as Lindsay Graham and John McCain for slamming the Obama administration decision to pull all troops out of Iraq. On Meet The Press Sunday morning, the former New York senator told host David Gregory that GOP figures should have been vocal towards the last presidents decision and not the current one.
They should have raised those issues when President Bush agreed to the agreement to withdrawal troops by the end of this year, she said. I feel like this is a debate that is looking backwards instead of forward.
Clinton also said that Iraq withdrawal has been a bi-partisan commitment on President Obamas watch to show the leadership to fulfill that commitment.
