ROTFLMAO...Stone, I love the three in your second video, the first was good, but those guys, as silly as they were, I understood completely what they were saying, because the lead dude, he is the image of my g-son, a smart-alecky, thinks he knows it all, in your face, oops, except with g-ma...just an all around likable person, and he thinks of us all as 'just Americans'.
I am glad the black guy reminded the badly educated little girl that Jews and Italians and Germans (Ben Franklin called Germans "swarthy") and Italians and Spaniards were not considered "white" at one time or another in this great but flawed country.

They are young and still impressionable, but their characters, their personalities, their curiocity, open mindness and willingness to learn makes these three kids your superiors already. Right now, they only repeat what they have been taught, by openly admitting they are NOT obama supporters shows that they are paying attention. These young men think like anyone else who consider themselves Americans first, they're interested in the achievements of people, not their race.
What could these young men learn from the likes of you two? Manners? Civility? Politeness? Courtesy? I don't think so, I think they could teach the two of you a lot, then again, maybe not, because if you have none of these wonderful qualities now, at your ages, you never will.

What is offensive are people who are Jewish, Eastern European, Souther Europe, Italian or German or of Scott-Irish decent accepting the racial bigotry of a the old Anglo population (which to be fair, not all Anglos accepted or cared much about racial politics) which used that to hurt those people that now are tricked into accepting the old Anglo prejudices but with their "kind" now being included in the "White" race.
For the record, in the USA being "White" was a socio-economic condition as much as it was about race and ethnicity.
For example, to the view of Benjamin Franklin the Germans who settled in Pennsylvania were "swarthy" and he extolled the virtues of the light skin and fair haired Anglo-Saxon people compared to the dark Germans. That is something some modern day people would scratch their heads about because in WW2 we fought against Germans who claimed they were the supreme example of the "white" race.
The other objection that Ben Franklin had to German immigrants was their "swarthy complexion", which was an affront to the "purely white people" who originally settled America:
Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Language or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion.
Which leads me to add one Remark: That the Number of purely white People in the World is proportionably very small. All Africa is black or tawny. Asia chiefly tawny. America (exclusive of the new Comers) wholly so. And in Europe, the Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted, who with the English, make the principal Body of White People on the Face of the Earth. I could wish their Numbers were increased. And while we are, as I may call it, Scouring our Planet, by clearing America of Woods, and so making this Side of our Globe reflect a brighter Light to the Eyes of Inhabitants in Mars or Venus, why should we in the Sight of Superior Beings, darken its People? why increase the Sons of Africa, by Planting them in America, where we have so fair an Opportunity, by excluding all Blacks and Tawneys, of increasing the lovely White and Red? But perhaps I am partial to the Complexion of my Country, for such Kind of Partiality is natural to Mankind.

So here you have Irish and Germans, in our modern eyes, as white as white can be, considered by the Anglos in America as "swarthy" people.
Racism has twisted reality for this population. That is why a "Black History Month" is actually needed and a good idea as are all those "history months".

No, because the purpose of the history month is to explain to the racialist Anglo-douches (a shrinking population one hopes) in the first place that the racist policies they inflicted on the nation were wrong.
Minorities never denied the dominant Anglos their human dignities which now requires a redress.
I would be for a holiday to honor those Americans that fought for Civil Rights, be they white abolitionists or black freedom riders in the 60s or women and gay rights advocates. Maybe on the day of the Emancipation Proclamation was announced (September 22)?
