I was up in Alaska in the field at Gulkana Glacier, Alaska as part of the Army's Cols Weather Instructor Course and had walked away from the ten man arctic tent to find a spot to do a #2 - which is real fun when it's forty below zero.
As I was getting in position to do my business a large 'log' stood up in front of me and a cow moose was suddenly in front of me, sending me backwards into the snow with my drawers down. That was painful, but in a different way then this guy experienced.
I should of realized tht large log was impossible in that area as this most cetertainly was not Oregon, but I worked in the woods planting trees many years and pinching a loaf in the woods was nothing new or unusual for me and I had not paid attention to why an Oregon grade lof was in front of me.
That's the closest I ever came to big animal interdiction injury. The sun never shines here part of the body is not made for snow at forty below, I am here to tell you.
