Herman Cain has the support of a man who is proud to be an American — and has a song to prove it. Lee Greenwood, who is best known for his patriotic hit “God Bless the USA,” is part of a group of musicians who offered their support to Cain, a Republican candidate for president, Monday in Nashville. (RELATED: Cain trails Obama by just three points) The group is calling itself “Artists Raising Cain.” “I felt now was the perfect time to pull our friends in the music and entertainment community together,” said group co-founder Douglas Warren. “We’re so passionate about this candidate, Herman Cain.” The group appeared together with Cain at a Nashville book signing Monday. I wouldn't be surprised if Herman Cain turns down the VP job (if Romney wins and if he offers it to him). I've been a fan of The Hermanator since long before he went after the White House gig and knowing his character I'm not sure he would take a job that requires he go out and support policies that he disagrees with. A cabinet position that lets him set his own policies for that particular department would better suit him.
A parrot repeating "jobs, jobs, jobs" will beat Obama next year, so long as there isn't a substantial center-right independent candidate in the race. There won't be one. Obama will be gone.
Cain's on record saying he'd accept a VP invite from any of the other candidates except Perry.
