We are not at war with Yemen and we were engaged with strikes against al-Qaeda in Yemen when Bush was in office. We have been engaged in aggression with Libya on and off since Ronald Reagan's air strikes.

The order to kill Bin Laden was issued by Billl Clinton, the same POTUS you have previously taken to task for NOT having dealt with Bin Laden when he was in office. So which one do YOU want it...Bin Laden alive or dead? And since Bin Laden was a clearly recognizable figure as a both a combatant and a command and control figure of other combatants, he was clearly subject to a "battlefield" dispensation no matter where he was. We killed Yamamoto and have targeted other military leaders throughout history. I do not lose one half wink of sleep nor do I fear for the erosion of the USCON because Bin Laden was splashed in his bed clothes and then got pissed on by some SEALS and Marines - and probably a few hundred of their drivers - and then kicked overboard to have his carcass consumed by whatever cared to eat it. It goes the same for that that asshole in Yemen. A clear combatant as well as the command and control of other combatants who CLEARLY - despite your contrary myopia - would attack US citizens and interests whereever they could be engaged. Don't you find it odd that on one hand 0bama and your leftist ilk demand trials and civil rights for "terrorists" in places like New York City, yet woudn't arrest and try Osama and all his upper echelon?
