Title: ‘Coyote Ugly’ Defines US Voters Fleeing From Obama’s Failure As ‘America’s CEO’

With the 2008 elections far behind us, hot-button issues like the sagging economy and high jobless numbers are giving the public a clearer idea of the leadership style of the President. “As we witnessed in ’08, at the start of the economic crisis, the wrong leadership on Wall Street resulted in dire consequences” notes Stephen Xavier, an Executive Coach, Republican Campaign Consultant and Conservative Blogger. (http://www.americastopcoach.com – http://www.lifeontheright.com) Xavier’s list of corporate clients includes the leaders of numerous Fortune 500 companies.

Xavier points out that “If Barack Obama were CEO of a major U.S. corporation today, he’d be fired by now,” and a recent Fox News Poll released yesterday indicated that’s what American voters think as well.

“Obama’s polling numbers are abysmal by any measure. In the Fox Poll American voters indicated, by a 52-38 percent margin, that Obama’s policies and leadership style are a failure,” said Xavier.

Xavier points out that the recent news from tech giant HP, one of the world’s largest producers of computers and related products, validates this point, “HP’s last CEO, Leo Apotheker, only lasted 11 months on the job. Apotheker’s dismissal as HP CEO is how things are done in the ‘real world’ where results matter” says Xavier. “Three consecutive quarters of lackluster results got him booted out. Obama’s had three years with significantly worsening results and people are tiring of it. Shareholders want ROI, voters want jobs and a stable economy. It’s that simple”

In dealing with the economic crisis that is now dominating the nation’s attention, Obama has had a tougher than usual challenge, insists Xavier, and people need to consider that. However, Xavier states, “A CEO blaming his predecessor for failure is bad form, plain and simple, and Obama blaming Bush didn’t help his position or polling numbers.” Press Release – Page 2 of 2 – Xavier – “Obama Fails As US CEO”

As Xavier commented during the 2008 Presidential election, “Obama had played it safe politically through the economic crisis” – an early indicator of Obama’s style. Quoting Lincoln’s words that “whatever you are, be a good one,” Xavier says that “History tells us the best leadership, whether in business or politics, is set by bold example, not words.”

“In the ’08 election many voters and pundits expressed concern over Obama’s lack of experience in having ‘never managed anything’ besides a ‘community organization’ and now, those chickens have come home to roost. His lack of experience is apparent and the White House is not the place for on-the-job-training or leading from the rear” Xavier went on to say.

Xavier cites the way Obama caught and held the nation’s attention with his charisma, good looks, political savvy, and message of “change and hope” during his campaign and it’s wearing off. “ ‘Coyote Ugly’ might now better characterize voter’s sentiment towards Obama” referring to the ‘morning after’ shock of a bad date we are stuck with after a night out with too much to drink from the night before. “Voters now will do almost anything to get out of that bed and run for the hills. The Kool-Aid has worn off – reality has set in.”

Xavier expresses hope that the last three years should have taught us something about the need for experience at the helm of the world’s most powerful nation. The remaining Presidential GOP Debates and those candidates’ reactions to the crisis at hand will show “CEO style” – and ultimately will resonate with the public in the voting booth.
