The New York Post - whose proprietor has been among those urging Chris Christie to join the 2012 race - reports that the New Jersey governor is growing more serious, after urging from figures including Henry Kissinger and George W. Bush.

The announcement may come as soon as Monday, said sources familiar with Christie’s thinking.

The renewed consideration about a White House run came after prodding this week from some Republicans he idolizes, including former First Lady Nancy Reagan, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, and former President George W. Bush, sources said.

“It’s more than just flattering,” a source close to Christie said, adding they helped convince Christie that he not only could win, but that he has what it takes to be president.

And we all know how well those Kissinger approved presidents work out.

The neocons strike back.

That's two times in one day.

Now I'm getting concerned. . . .

Tsk tsk tsk, ming.

I know it's difficult, but please try to follow along:

1. Skippy posted, and I quote: "The neocons strike back". This was his comment in an article about the GOP establishment (many of whom LOVE Bush and Obama's endless wars which I believe is one definition of neocon).

2. I took it that Skippy disaproved of this. I do, too.

3. Are you still there? Good! Now try to remember - earlier today - that Skippy was glad I didn't live in California. I agreed with Skip - I'm too am glad I don't live in California.

4. Now - here is where it gets tough. Make sure you are sharp, okay? Really, really concentrate. Are you still there? Good! Now, if you've been paying attention, maybe you've noticed that Skippy and I don't agree on much. In fact, he used to have me filtered! Can you believe it? Me? Filtered? But strange as it seems, it's true.

(Though I just checked and my filter count is zero. Maybe I've won the ol Skipper over with my wit and logic. You don't think so? Oh well, I can dream.)

But back to my point - so Skippy and I haven't agreed on much through the weeks and months I've been on here - but wow! Today, we've agreed on TWO things. Can you believe it?

I'm so honored I'm just speechless.

Excuse me while I shed a tear in appreciation of my good fortune.

So many words, most of them condescendingly similar to how most Tea Bagger's here post, yet you still didn't answer the question.

I can't speak for other Tea Partiers here, but as for me I customize my responses to the perceived intelligence level of the recipient(s) - i.e. to the one(s) who ping(s) me.

An intelligent question will get a thoughtful response.

On the other hand, a less than intelligent question will, well, let's just say . . .

By the way, you really ought to see a shrink about your teabagger obsession.

yet you still didn't answer the question.
Yes, I did.
