Texas Gov. Rick Perry makes another wildly false claim in a new Web ad — saying that the U.S. poverty rate has hit an “all-time high.” In fact, the rate is the highest since 1993, but 7.3 percentage points lower than it was in 1959, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s most recent annual tally.

Thats how I see it. Honestly I don't see how Owe-bama gets reelected with this economy. Its not so much about the drooping poll numbers, its about unemployment, a huge jump in the poverty rates, etc. No POTUS post WWII could. FDR benefitted greatly from a press that hid how ill he actually was for years, and no TV (despite that idiot Biden's assertion ther was TV then). Plus the overall education of the average American today on economic matters is levels of magnitude above what it was in the 30's. He's toast, the only question is how big a temper tantrum he and his supporters will throw the night he's fired, and for the 3 months til he's out of the Whitehouse.
