Rush Limbaugh said President Barak Obama stole one of the talk-show hosts 35 Undeniable Truths of Life when he addressed the United Nations Wednesday. I feel like I have been plagiarized, Limbaugh said. Peace does not mean the absence of war Obama uttered those exact words in his speech today at the United Nations, adding that the statement was the fourth truth on his list.
Limbaugh replayed the audio on his program, along with a sound bite of the president saying, Peace is hard.
Did you know that peace is hard? he asked his listeners. Obama really misses the Jewish vote he made an appeal for it today.
Limbaugh also noted a USA Today/Gallup poll that shows a majority of Americans are willing to blame Obama for the dire state of the economy, and reiterated his theory the president is losing the independent vote.
The conventional wisdom is that the moderates and the great independents dislike any form of confrontation or conflict, Limbaugh said.
Independents abandoned Obama during the mid-term elections in 2010, he said.
Obama hasnt had the independents for a year now, he said. Now, they say they see the truth. Had they just listened to me back on Jan. 16 . . . thats the day that history will forever show that there was one man standing: Me, who said, I hope he fails.
