CINCINNATI — A tea party activist is challenging U.S. House Speaker John Boehner (BAY’-nur) in the 2012 Republican primary.

The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://bit.ly/o5hTXQ) reports that David Lewis announced his candidacy on Friday.

Lewis, the father of a 2-year-old girl, says he plans on running on a single issue — Boehner’s support of a federal budget that provides funding to Planned Parenthood, which he calls “the largest killer of unborn babies in America.”

Lewis tells the newspaper that he plans on running graphic anti-abortion ads against Boehner. He says that people will not reject abortion until they see abortion.

Boehner beat out two other candidates in the Republican primary for his congressional seat last year with 85 percent of the vote. His staff declined the newspaper’s requests for comment. Subscribe to *Tea Party On Parade*

This doesn't surprise me in the least, quite a few people are pissed off at him for giving in to Obozo and the Dipstickocrats on the budget!!!!!

When asked by a Liberal what I bought my Granddaughter for her 1st birthday I replied, "MORE AMMUNITION"!!!! -----------------------------"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

He's not orange colored, and he doesn't kill babies.

CINCINNATI — A tea party activist is challenging U.S. House Speaker John Boehner in the 2012 Republican primary.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that David Lewis announced his candidacy on Friday.

Lewis, 26, is the father of a 2-year-old girl, and says he plans to run on a single issue — Boehner's support of a federal budget that includes funding for Planned Parenthood, which he calls "the largest killer of unborn babies in America."

Lewis told the newspaper he plans to run graphic anti-abortion ads against Boehner. "There is a saying that people will not reject abortion until people see abortion," he told the Enquirer.

Boehner beat out two other candidates in the Republican primary for his congressional seat last year, with 85 percent of the vote. His staff declined the newspaper's requests for comment.

When asked by the Enquirer about his chances in a race against Boehner, Lewis replied, "I'm not delusional. I don't know if I have a chance at beating the Speaker of the House. But what I can do is show the Ohio voters that Boehner has a box full of empty rhetoric. ... He's an establishment Republican. He doesn't believe in the Tea Party. He doesn't really believe in the pro-life issues."

Earlier this year Lewis participated in a sit-in protest at Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's office in Washington organized by Randall Terry's group, Insurrecta Nex. A video of the protest was posted on YouTube.

Lewis said if he beats Boehner in the primary he will have to move into his district. (He currently resides in the congressional district represented by Republican Jean Schmidt.)

While I agree with your view of Cincy, Boehner doesn't represent it.

Chabot does.

Since the GOP took over the Congress in January they've failed to cut a single dollars in federal spending, instead they keep agreeing to cut the rate of spending increases.

You would think the tea party would be up in arms over being sold out, but they remain surprisingly quiet.

...because Harry Reid, Democrat Senate Majority leader, keeps blocking legislation that would in fact 'cut spending'.

DUMBASS.

You're right, his district ends right at 275 on the north side of town.... Just knew he had an office in West Chester.....

The media will attempt to hype this, but the fact is Boehner is wildly popular in his district, and the voters within it are sophisticated politically.

They simply won't fire The Speaker of the House.

Proxy IP's are amusing.....lmao
