Neo-cons used to be known as Rockefeller Republicans, Checked-Pants Republicans, or Country Club Republicans. As noted in the video they were joined by their fellow travelers from the far left for the purposes of grabing money and power. They're not well liked by the general population, but they've got the money to indoctrinate children in their progressive schools, buy MSM support, and swing elections. They've successfully merged the D and R parties into one leftist party.
Obama's watch stopped on 24 May 2008, but he's been too busy smoking crack to notice.
