Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty abandoned his bid for the GOP presidential nomination on Sunday after a disappointing finish in the Ames Straw Poll in Iowa. "We needed a boost from Ames that didn't happen," Pawlenty told staff on a conference call Sunday morning, CNN learned.

She's a nut Stone. After she voted to raise the debt ceiling by $6 trillion over 8 years she now says she's opposed to any increase in the debt ceiling, a stance that directly led to the recent debt downgrade.

No, he's a politician. But there's no way he would have voted against raising it if there was a chance of it not being raised. BTW, Reagan supported raising it 17 times, by your logic that makes him a flaming liberal.
It took Reagan 17 times and it didn't even get over $2 trillion total..... Obozo got over that alone in the last one $2.4.... right...... over $5 trillion total in 3 years......
Reagan tripled the national debt during his time as President. Obama hasn't come close despite inheriting a $1.2 trillion deficit.
nice chart - glad you accept that public debt rose sharply starting in 1981 and fell during the Clinton administration before rising again under Bush. Reagan tripled the debt, that's a fact. Obama hasn't come anywhere close to that.

The fact is that Reagan tripled the debt. You an deny it all you want, but facts are facts. Sorry. Reagan inhereted a national debt of $900 billion and handed George HW Bush a national debt of $2.7 trillion (after 17 increases in the debt ceiling. It took 31 years for the debt to go from $300 billion to $900 billion. Reagan tripled it in just 8.

I guess you can't quite grasp the fact that any budget/bill that originates in the House still has to be approved by Congress and the Kenyan Village Idiot...... And they won't approve any meaningful spending cuts, unless you consider a few million here or there to be "Meaningful"????? So if you want to try and blame the Pubbys for the $5 trillion dollars added to the deficit from Jan 2007 until Jan 2011 (when the Dumbassocrats held the purse strings) then by all means go right ahead...... That's the Dems stategy by not passing a budget, because they can use Bush's last budget and say "See the Pubbys are responsible for all of our debt, we tried to pass a budget but couldn't.... those nasty Tea Party people"...... Can I go ahead and laugh now or should I wait for your reply???? So what happened to Pay/Go ?????? The PAYGO system was reestablished as a standing rule of the House of Representatives (Clause 10 of Rule XXI) on January 4, 2007 by the "DEMOCRAT- CONTROLLED" 110th Congress..... Oh that's right it got ignored (By the Democrats) so they could pass all of their bulshit stimulus packages.....
You need a civics lesson. Obama can't spend a single dollar without Congressional approval. If the House doesn't appropriate the funds, they don't get spent. The House doesn't need to pass a bill to cut spending, it simply can refuse to enact any spending at all.
So how then did they get money when there wasn't a budget passed for 2+ years??

That doesn't answer how they got the money for the 2 "PRIOR" years!!!! You know the ones where there "WASN'T" a budget.....

Continuing resolutions. Again, you need to take a civics lesson so you can understand how government works. And back to our original point, the GOP-controlled House appropriated the funds for FY2011. If you have a complaint about spending, write a letter to Speaker Boehner.
