MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan is mad as hell about the U.S. financial crisis--and he's not gonna take it anymore!
While convening a roundtable discussion on the market meltdown on his eponymous MSNBC show on Tuesday, Ratigan exploded.
"We've got a real problem!" an exasperated Ratigan shouted. "This is a mathematical fact! Tens of trillions of dollars are being extracted from the United States of America. Democrats aren't doing it, Republicans aren't doing it. An entire integrated system, financial system, trading system, taxing system, that was created by both parties over a period of two decades is at work on our entire country right now. And we're sitting here arguing about whether we should do the $4 trillion plan that kicks the can down the road for the president for 2017, or burn the place to the ground, both of which are reckless, irresponsible, and stupid."
"I'm sorry to lose my temper," he continued. "But, I tell you what, I've been coming on TV for three years doing this, and the fact of the matter is that there's a refusal on both the Democratic and the Republican side of the aisle to acknowledge the mathematical problem, which is that the United States of America is being extracted."
Later, on the show's website, Ratigan called it his "epic 'Network' moment."

The Superman president concept. We don't have a superman in the WH. Kennedy and Reagan came closest to that.
We need a president with integrity and guts, who's just crazy enough to try fighting the establishment via a direct appeal to the people. Ron Paul has the integrity and is probably crazy enough, not sure if he has the guts. It also takes a special kind of ability, or stage presence, to get the people of the US on your side and keep them there during the tough transition to a Constitutional Republic. Reagan and Kennedy had it. Note that both were shot.
Such a president would be fighting the MSM and both parties. He'd have to have massive public support to pull it off. Tea Party+++
Everybody is dreaming. Until we have a serious discussion of how flawed, how corrupt, the world we live in truly is, nothing good can happen. As long as we keep pretending that our political system works, that everything is on the up and up, nothing good can happen. Until we stop deceiving ourselves about every damn thing except ourselves, nothing good can happen. And until we all face the music, and if you've got a scheme for solving all our problems—everybody does—I don't want to fucking hear your fucking plan. Got it?

Ratigan is slowly coming to the realization that he lives in the United States, not in La La Land where reasonable plans work. He's not quite there yet. (He seems to think Obama is less corrupt than the others.) Near the end of the video, MSNBC contributor Jimmy Williams says—

All serious discussions begin with this simple observation. If you skip over it, or pretend money in politics doesn't matter, if you assume politicians are sincere, that they are earnest, you are fooling yourself. Apparently, you prefer to live in a world of bullshit. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Until Americans get serious about solving the root of all political evil, evil is what they will get.
