TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A South Florida lawmaker wants the state to remove Citgo gas stations from Florida's Turnpike. State Representative Adam Hasner is raising the issue following last week's comments by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez at the United Nations, who said President George W. Bush was "the devil." Citgo is owned by the national oil company of Venezuela. In a letter to the state Department of Transportation, Hasner asks whether the state can terminate the contracts of Citgo gas stations at toll plazas along the Turnpike. In his letter, the Delray Beach Republican said a clear message needs to be sent to Chavez that the state of Florida "will not support institutions that seek the destabilization of America." A spokesman for the Department of Transportation said that the agency is reviewing the request. Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.

Before you start supporting Hugo too much just think about all that MSM press he is getting. The UNIVERSAL practice of the NWO is to IGNORE those who genuinely oppose it where the MSM is concerned. The Citgo sign towers proudly over Kenmore Square in Boston and millions of Americans who were concerned to learn that Chavez seeks an alliance with Iran and North Korea, or who were incensed when Chavez called our President “the devil” at the United Nations last week, continue to mindlessly fill up at Citgo, giving Chavez not only profits from Venezuela’s oil (which is unavoidable) but profits from the retail sales of gasoline and diesel fuel (which is easily avoidable).
