The markets are now becoming concerned about the size of debt (the propaganda is finally proving to be false). The government has NOT been willing to handle the debt, and the Tea Party has tried to force the government to address these problems.
If the Tea Party "bears some responsibility," it is for the fact that they failed to rein-in the spendthrifts in DC...
