* Twenty-six police officers hurt in clashes, with eight treated in hospital (Several London "yoots" and homies standing around posing and participating in the usual murder and mayhem. Just like in LA, Chicago, or Milwaukee.) (Referred to as "pockets of violence" as opposed to what happened during the Battle of Britain, WWII) (Oddly enough, Whitey does NOT seemed involved, though they can be blamed for taking out the gangsta aka "father of four" aka future gangstas) in the first place)
Poster Comment: (gangsta eliminated by London LEOs) Here's my favorite line of the entire story: Windows were smashed at a Barclays Bank and pictures on Twitter appeared to show the building being looted. There were also reports that youths had stormed McDonald’s and had started frying their own burgers and chips.

The looters had evidently removed the products from their boxes to create more space in their shopping trolleys and cars, which were said to number up to 100. Fragments of glass from the smashed in door of PC World littered the ground. The scene outside Comet was similar and outside B&Q - one of the few stores that did not appear to have been looted - staff stood uncertainly, waiting to hear from head office whether they would be working today. With police tape cordoning off most of the neighbouring shops, the prospect seemed unlikely. A member of staff at The Carphone Warehouse next door said every phone in the shop had been stolen. The contents of the stock room were spilled across the pavement outside from the smashed in door. Inside, it had been pulled apart. A solitary mobile phone rang out from beneath a pane of glass on the ground. Outside JD sport shop, broken mannequins lay on the ground, plastic legs and torsos scattered here and there. Plastic coat hangers and discarded packaging also lay among the debris. FREE STUFF!! Surprise, surprise! No reports yet of whether looters were making off with truly precious cargo/booty - cases Heineken.
ROTFL Now that is something! Betcha they didn't have any watermelon or black-eyed-peas to complement the delicious vittles.
But only because these chefs hadn't time to create such a compleat and proper dinner considering the distraction of burning police cars and rioting outside at the moment.
