Obama mints pulled from college store
Up until recently, students at the University of Tennessee could get their breath ready for date night with a box of mints stamped with Obamas visage. But the Obama mints were recently pulled because of a slogan printed on them.
"This is change? Disappointmints" was stamped under Obamas face on the small tin. The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that local legislator Joe Armstrong, a Knoxville Democrat, heard about the mints and spoke to the bookstore director who removed the product from the shelves.
"If it was a book or something of that nature, fine, but that's sort of a discretionary product they have there. It wasn't viewpoint neutral. It was very specifically insulting to the president, Armstrong told the Tennessee paper.
