MSNBC host Martin Bashir interviewed Stanton Peele, a psychologist and an "expert on addiction," this afternoon. Bashir urged Peele to psychologically evaluate supporters of the Tea Party. "It reminds us of addiction because addicts are seeking something that they can't have," Peele said. "They want a state of happiness or nirvana that can't be achieved except through an artificial substance and reminds us of the Norway situation, when people are thwarted at obtaining something they can't, have they often strike out and Norway is one kind of example to one kind of reaction to that kind of a frustration."
Bashir later asked: "So you're saying that they are delusional about the past and adamant about the future?"
"They are adamant about achieving something that's unachievable, which reminds us of a couple of things. It reminds us of delusion and psychosis," Peele responded.
The Teabaggers have been very successful in crashing the US Stock Market with their tactics, making sure everyone with an IRA or a 401k is a bit poorer today.
Thanks for nothing, baggers. I hope you like eating dog food.

LMAO!
Oh, geez - Only in the alcohol-soaked, drug-addled delusion minds of you leftist-0bamanoids is the Tea Party to blame for the gazillion dollar deficit and printing press ordered to run 24/7
WTF are you smoking, Skip? Good stuff, eh? The TP is trying like hell to S-T-O-P fedgov spending, but you socialists insist that EVERYTHING be FREE. What's THAT about, Homes??
So...YOUR "solution" is to stick your head, neck, and rest of your torso into the sand?
No, my solution is to realize that the debt ceiling was raised to pay for programs the congress already spent money on.
You say you want to save money? Fine. End the M.E wars, stop being the world's cop, and reduce the size of the military.
You should be fine with that since the military are all government employees. We could always use the remaining military to fight the only war that effects us directly; the one on our southern border.
