Palin: If Tea Partiers Were Terrorists, Obama Would Pal Around With Us

Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin responds to a report that Vice President Joe Biden said Republicans were "terrorists" during a closed-door meeting with Congressional Democrats about the debt compromise.

Palin says "enough is enough" and she's "not going to sit here and take it anymore" when it comes to the left accusing the Tea Party of racism.

"It's all talk and no real action. Otherwise he'd be on Biden and tell Biden to tone it down a little bit. Yeah, right, independent patriotic Americans who desire fiscal sanity in our beloved nation being called terrorists. Heck, Sean, if we were real domestic terrorists, shoot, President Obama would be wanting to pal around with us, wouldn’t he? I mean he didn’t have a problem paling around with Bill Ayers back in the day when he kicked off his political career in Bill Ayers' apartment," Palin said on FOX News' "Hannity."

Acting "Presidential" is out of fashion...as is experience, sadly.

You'll get no argument from me. Lack of experience is spiking this presidency. It also highlights the double standard that exists between GOP and Democrat POTUSes...Bush's lack of experience was never seen as a liability - still isn't - and yet he made blunder after blunder because of it...

Gee . . . who would've seen THAT coming in 2007-08
It also highlights the double standard that exists between GOP and Democrat POTUSes...
Yep. Based on executive experience (of which Obama had zero), even Sarah Palin was more qualified than Obama. [waiting for war's head to explode]

You and I are in agreement that Bush was a shitty president (though I doubt we agree on the reasons why.)

But in a match of prior experience, Obama loses big. Bush WAS governor of Texas, after all. Obama was . . . . ?

Title does not equal experience...it simply means you were "there"...

I don't believe that I made one incorrect prediction about the course of his presidency...so...to disagree with me is to disagree with reality...

See what I did there, huh? Huh?

Yeah, you didn't cut and paste my entire sentence.

Here's what you pasted:

though I doubt we agree on the reasons why
and here's what I originally wrote:

Now that that's out of the way, I will explain:

Bush to me was a shitty president because he was a faux conservative that governed like a liberal - fighting wars we have no business in, increasing the power of the state, and creating new boondoggle programs like the geezer drug program.

I would venture to say that Bush to you was a shitty president because he had the nerve to govern like a liberal but had the dreaded "R" after his name.

He was a shitty POTUS because he was in over his head for the simple reason that he would never, ever understand the cause/effect relationship of his policies. I saw the first tax cuts as having the immediate effect of starving the government of revenues at a time when it was ready to pay down debt. I saw the second round of tax cuts as being of similar nature while we were fighting wars that were requiring EXPONENTIALLY more money than was averred, in public, would be needed.

I'm all for tax cuts - at the correct time. The economy, at the time, was not starved for capital, it was simply undergoing an asset reallocation correction - out of Y2K and internet start-ups back into housing and manufacturing modernization which were the underreported "booms" of the latge 90's.. There was absolutely no need for those tax cuts. Everyone who knows anything KNEW that his %5trl in cumulative surpluses by 2011 and a paydown of $1trl in debt were moronic projections. CBO certainly laughed at it.

That's but one example.

Good-frickin' GRIEF!!

BUSH'S TAX CUT!!!!!!!!!! Again?? Do you EVER look at the Big Picture??

That was a simple card trick or dangling keys in a baby's face as Bush (a NWO-puppet) and Congress destroyed/stole the economy, our currency, our civil rights, our freedom, and our sovereignty.

Let's stop pretending "cause and effect" has been remotely analyzed and solutions considered....SINCE 1988! The CBO has been laughing since then.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY had any intention of helping America thrive since Poppa Bush ushered in his New World Order with the first bogus Iraq War. NONE of them nor Congress has give a sh*t about balancing jacksquat then or now.

Bush (both) were sh*tty Presidents; Bubba was an insane joke; And 0bama is an abomination, a sick f**king joke and enemy of all that's decent and good.

My default position is almost anytime is a time for a tax cut - the exception being at a time of war(and if you're going to fight a war, fight it to win - but that's another topic.)

The caveat however should be that any tax cut should be accompanied by equal (or greater) spending cuts. And there's the rub - no matter how you slice and dice it, the spending cuts never seem to come.

(and by the way, since I don't live in the parallel DC universe, to me a CUT means a CUT. NOT a reduction in a planned spending INCREASE.)
