We face severe and growing income inequality with negative effects on people and the economy. Yet, no surprise, the ‘can’t do’ right wing continues a scorched earth campaign against the minimum wage. These self-promoting haters actually prefer no wages and indentured servitude – for example using prisoners to replace employees and cheerfully promoting ‘internships’ for the unemployed. They glory in income inequality and wish it to expand instead of contract. Enough of that. They are destroyers of the American Dream. But people who seek to shrink income inequality — to insure life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all and not just some — must now focus as much on the maximum wage as the minimum wage. snip For those, however, receiving bailouts, deposit insurance, government guarantees, tax breaks, tax credits, other forms of public financing, government contracts of any sort – and so on – the top paid person cannot receive more than twenty-five times the bottom paid person. This ratio, by the way, is what business visionary Peter Drucker recommended as most effective for organization performance as well as society. It also echoes Jim Collins who, in his book Good To Great, found that the most effective top leaders are paid more modestly than unsuccessful ones. And, critically, it is a ratio that is in line with various European and other nations that have dramatically lower income inequality than the United States.

They only made it to the second sentence, before falling flat on their faces. This article goes back to the D vs. R false dichotomy, which can only result in nonsensical conclusions. Thus, there is only logical conclusion to your posting of this article:

I have a beautiful, smart and ambitious wife... And three really smart and beautiful daughters (15, 9, and 3). We're trying for child #4. I wish I got laid every night. I have to settle for 3 to 4 times a week. Again, you have no idea about who I am or what I do. I'm on this board between meetings and phone calls because I need some conflict in my life and I don't want conflict in my business or family. This is therapy for me. I was in Detroit last week on vacation. I was in Houston Monday and Tuesday on business. I even posted on this board from my "Windows Phone 7" at the Fox Skybox at gate E16 in the Bush airport yesterday before I got on my flight to Seattle. I don't always agree with Capitalist Eric, but I learn things from him. Learning is valuable to me. I wish that learning were valuable to you. Unfortunately, it's not. Shame on you. Surely you understand statistical process control (SPC) methodologies, yes? While the sample population may include 10 million individuals, when you take a "sample" of only one or two hundred, and they are all rejects, then the logical conclusion is that the vast majority will be, and that further sampling of the population would be a waste of time. Many REAL men reject the stereotypical "Western" woman- materialistic, stupid and brainwashed by feminazi propaganda. A man talks to his friends, sees the looks on their faces, as they describe how they married some American woman- and are now nagged by some fat bitch bimbo, with the "what have you done for me lately?" attitude, and a demand that you must "love me for how I am..." Yeah, all 250#! Get real. You post such bullshit comments, because you're annoyed that any man would dare to call you out for being unacceptable. What makes it so amusing, is that you fancy yourself as being above that, but your comments clearly indicate otherwise. Your attacks of jwpegler have nothing to do with him: they've everything to do with you.
I've been in 26 countries. I've been to many countries 20+ times each. When I was going through my divorce, I was on Match.com. I dated 55 women in a year. (seriously) But it was even worse than that. I dated one woman for 4 months and another woman for 2 months. I dumped them because they were just too needy. So, I went out with 53 woman in 6 months. I just wasn't finding anyone interesting. I was at the Seattle Mariners game one day with a couple of friends who had gotten divorced before I did. They said: "you've been all over the world, so why are you limiting yourself to women in Seattle???". They were right. So, I starting approaching this like I approach my business -- by setting some goals and figuring out how to accomplish the goals. I like Asian women. I also needed to have someone who was really smart, ambitious, and family-oriented. So, I expanded my search beyond Match.com. I found the woman of my dreams in an Asian country that I've done a lot of business in. We've been married for 4 years. We have a 3 year old daughter, in addition to my 9 and 15 year old daughters. My oldest daughters love my wife. She is the best thing that's happened to our family. We're working on another child. My wife and I are both small business owners. We both have dreams and plans to grow our small businesses into really big businesses. We are so very happy... I'm 52 years old. My 30s and 40s were great from an economic perspective, but not as good from a family perspective. Now I'm looking forward to the best decade of my life with success in both business and family.
