We face severe and growing income inequality with negative effects on people and the economy. Yet, no surprise, the ‘can’t do’ right wing continues a scorched earth campaign against the minimum wage. These self-promoting haters actually prefer no wages and indentured servitude – for example using prisoners to replace employees and cheerfully promoting ‘internships’ for the unemployed. They glory in income inequality and wish it to expand instead of contract. Enough of that. They are destroyers of the American Dream. But people who seek to shrink income inequality — to insure life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all and not just some — must now focus as much on the maximum wage as the minimum wage. snip For those, however, receiving bailouts, deposit insurance, government guarantees, tax breaks, tax credits, other forms of public financing, government contracts of any sort – and so on – the top paid person cannot receive more than twenty-five times the bottom paid person. This ratio, by the way, is what business visionary Peter Drucker recommended as most effective for organization performance as well as society. It also echoes Jim Collins who, in his book Good To Great, found that the most effective top leaders are paid more modestly than unsuccessful ones. And, critically, it is a ratio that is in line with various European and other nations that have dramatically lower income inequality than the United States.

They only made it to the second sentence, before falling flat on their faces. This article goes back to the D vs. R false dichotomy, which can only result in nonsensical conclusions. Thus, there is only logical conclusion to your posting of this article:
Eric think he need post irrelevant pictures to his god(s)in lieu of actual blood sacrifice. The problem is... when will he know when god is appeased?

I have a beautiful, smart and ambitious wife... And three really smart and beautiful daughters (15, 9, and 3). We're trying for child #4. I wish I got laid every night. I have to settle for 3 to 4 times a week. Again, you have no idea about who I am or what I do. I'm on this board between meetings and phone calls because I need some conflict in my life and I don't want conflict in my business or family. This is therapy for me. I was in Detroit last week on vacation. I was in Houston Monday and Tuesday on business. I even posted on this board from my "Windows Phone 7" at the Fox Skybox at gate E16 in the Bush airport yesterday before I got on my flight to Seattle. I don't always agree with Capitalist Eric, but I learn things from him. Learning is valuable to me. I wish that learning were valuable to you. Unfortunately, it's not. Shame on you. I loved fighting with go65, because at least he attempted to post something that was coherent. I sometimes learned from g065. I've learned nothing from you. You, your alter ego (min- intellect), and Gooberdork are a complete waste of time.
