President Barack Obama spent an hour on Wednesday rambling about how his need for trillions of more dollars to give to unions and his supporters. Obama tried hard to frighten voters and those in the United States Congress about the dire need to raise his spending credit limit by more than 2 trillion dollars so the financial stability of Earth does not come crashing down on 02 August. Obama not only wants much more money to continue his rapid increase in the size of our government but he also wants to massively raise taxes on corporations and those he refers to as rich people. During his rant, Obama attacked corporations for using private jets, claiming that the tax deductions on corporate jets put children at risk.
Obama neglects the fact that his Stimulus Package included incentives for the production of corporate jets. If the production of corporate jets is good for our economy then one should assume that using these same jets must also be good? Is Obama so arrogant that he does not care that inconsistency of his statements are fully apparent.
Obama has the most exclusive and expensive private jet in the World. Whenever Obama flies in his private 747, several other Air Force jets precede and accompany his personal jet. No one else in the World other than Obama uses as much jet fuel for their individual travel. To attack corporations because they use private jets to optimize the efficiency of their employees is pure Obama arrogance and hypocrisy.
It is time to call Obamas bluff. We should not increase our debt limit. Instead, we should drastically cut Federal spending, including shutting down the Department of Education, furloughing 800,000 non-essential workers, and putting a halt to spending taxpayer money for Obamas frequent campaign travels in his private jet.
