I was in process of posting to Fred Mertz on a thread here@LF about the styles of the various managers that was deleted by the LF forum manager.

LP is on decline while LF is on the ascension at the moment even though LF has fewer stalwart posters. I made this point to nolu chan @TPF irrespective of Alexia website ratings that TPF has claimed.

Here are MY ratings for "hit/post ratios WRT articles submitted": LP (declining), LF (ascending), 4UM(flat) and TPF (flat) but in that order.

Goldi has let her channel go to shit based on her continuous babbling about Israel.

Stone is silly and offensive as with Ferret and war, to posters and has a lot to learn to keep his fucking hands off the channel material unless it is obviously out of perspective with the scope of LF.

Christine runs the best channel of the lot and is perhaps the best manager I have ever seen.

Robin is the best technically. I NEVER even knew about her site until Stone talked about nolu chan over there. He is the absolute best poster on the Internet beyond ANY that I have seen.

So, we have different management styles on these channels and the same is true for many others as well. All good managers from the perspective they each want to place the BEST possible within their limited budgets both time and money. But Stone, sometimes has this EVIL streak running down his kick 'em out button. It shall be his own death knell.

I told you once before that you are your own worst enemy. There are literally millions of chit-chat forums on the Internet. I know you want to succeed with your ideas but sometimes you just can't get your trigger finger off the "kick 'em button."

You have to alter your methods of management style. You are dealing with posters that have been on the Internet for years transcending through time based on technological changes and you treat them as though they are your enemies.

They want to express a perspective is all and sometimes that same perspective may not be eloquent or desirable. But they aren't spammers or hackers or idiots.

Stone's methods for his channel management style are often imbecilic, for sure.

Still, I have noted more posters popping in to LF and perhaps Stone is defensive of the forum. His reasons are his alone.

Diversity of opinion is the key to success whether anyone agrees with this point of view or not. If these chit-chat channel managers skew the forum impetus into their own way of thinking what shall happen is the inevitable: a hollow, echo chamber that is meaningless of and about personal opinion while some members chit-chat with a cup of tea or coffee because they have otherwise useless lives to begin with.

Strength *IS* diversity of opinion. It is not some singular model of thought or thinking guided by anyone or group. How else can we modify ourselves or the world around us but by attempting to learn new ideas?

In an honest intellectual debate, sure.

But neither rat-boy nor DwarF are interested in honest intellectual discussions.

They're disinformation specialists, which is the antithesis of what a discussion forum is about.

Since you use high and mighty terms to separate yourself from the rif-raf or chafe, I suppose you regard yourself as an "intellectual" correct? But, have you ever reviewed your own commentary?

Do you realize how silly you are with all those pictures in your tag-line?

I enjoy some of your articles. But, to be honest, your commentary sucks. You are akin to a mild-version of Mad Dog.

#41. To: buckeroo (#40)

I suppose you regard yourself as an "intellectual" correct?

No. Quite the opposite- I view myself as a guy who somehow grasps things that others (for whatever reason) do not. I look at economics, the same way I look at electrical and mechanical engineering puzzles, and just seem to know the solution... It's as easy to me as when you look at the lawn in front of your house, and say, "oh, the grass is green." In the same way that such a fact would be self-evident to you, it seems to be that way with me, when it comes to engineering and economics.

I don't think of myself as an intellectual, because that would imply that I really need to think about this stuff, to understand the ramifications. Am I working on my doctorate? Yeah. But the reason I'm doing it, is not to become an "intellectual." It's to have the strongest educational safety-net, to assure my family has adequate income for the forseeable future. It's an insurance policy, that's all...

But, have you ever reviewed your own commentary?

Why should I? I wrote it, so what purpose is to be served by reviewing it again?

Do you realize how silly you are with all those pictures in your tag-line?

I really don't care about your opinion.

I enjoy some of your articles.

Fine.

But, to be honest, your commentary sucks.

My goals are two-fold:

1. Post information so that people can understand what's coming, and
2. Shut down the disinformation/statist freaks, who would lead us all to the slaughter, if they could.

If that bruises your sensibilities, I really don't care. If you have full (or as close to full) information on which to make decisions which could very well affect your livelihood, or the survival of your family in the economic hurricane that we're in the middle of, then I'm good with that.

But truly, I don't care if you like me or not... As I told lucysmom the other day, my motives are very simple: get the information out. If we're in a crowded movie theater, and a fire breaks out, would you rather I yell FIRE! or just run out on my own? If you'd prefer and watch the movie, eating your popcorn, until you become "extra crispy," I can't do much about that... But at least I can warn people, and they can make their own choices... But the first thing to do is break the spell of fascination with the ongoing "bread-and-circuses" show, break people away from the distractions, so that they can see what's really going on...

Those that choose to ignore the truth, and believe the more-interesting fictions of the nightly news, I can do nothing for... Those that will wake up, will have at least a choice...

You are akin to a mild-version of Mad Dog.

I don't know what motivates him- and I've never asked. But you know where I'm coming from- for better or worse. And now, knowing this, you can probably understand why- though I'm accused by the forum trolls and disinfo specialists of being a liar, I have absolutely NO reason to lie, and every reason to speak factually.

If that makes it hard to read my commentary, than the answer is simple: don't.

dummy DwarF: I'll defend you here, Erica.

Dummy, you can't defend yourself. If you could make legit arguments, instead of knee-jerking back into "Disinfo Mode," and resorting to your juvenile personal attacks, you wouldn't have "Due to your account status (Probationed), you may make 10 comments per day" on your posts.

You think your feeble opinion, will be strengthened by the force of your message. In reality, the opposite is true.

You're not arrogant. You're not smart or good enough to merit it.

You lack the ability to judge what is smart OR good.

Hell, your own track-record through FR, LP and now LF, are a testament to your fecklessness. In the battle of wits, you show up with a banana in your hand, and a chip on your shoulder.

A) The biggest disinformationist here is you. You've been predicting the same doom and gloom for 10 years now. What makes it even more hilarious, is that we've had ups and downs in the economy but not because of any reason you have cited nor anything near the total collapse you've been predicting.

B) You ARE an asshole and seeing you IS seeing three. That's what your "chief" was telling you. If you, Erica, see MORE than three go look in the mirror and see the FIRST three.

C) Stone has no balls. He's well known to have no balls and it's not surprising, given your penchant for wearing skirts, heels and lipstick, that you'd hide behind someone with no balls and egg him on. And I have no record on FR...if I made 20 posts there I've probably over estimated by 5...

D) I still look forward to the day that we may meet, Erica. Posting the Youtube video of you taking those last few puzzled blinks and gasps will be a very happy day on the internet indeed.

Love,
The DwarF

A) The biggest disinformationist here is you. You've been predicting the same doom and gloom for 10 years now. What makes it even more hilarious, is that we've had ups and downs in the economy but not because of any reason you have cited nor anything near the total collapse you've been predicting.

Sure, dummy, SURE... So your contention is that things are just swimmingly good right now.

Consider the following FACTS:

#1 Today, 25 million Americans are either unemployed or underemployed. 6 million of those have been out of work for at least 6 months. The average duration of unemployment in the U.S. is now close to 40 weeks.

#2 The unofficial misery index, which is calculated by combining unemployment and inflation, is now at a 28 year high.

#3 Sadly, if unemployment and inflation were calculated the same way that they were back in the 1970s, the misery index would actually be much, much higher. According to John Williams of Shadow Government Statistics, the current "real" rate of inflation is approximately 11.2% instead of the 3.6% figure that the U.S. government wants us to believe.

#4 Greece is on the verge of complete and total financial collapse. The yield on two year Greek bonds is up to 28 percent. The European Central Bank and the German government have been fighting over what to do to solve the Greek crisis. The truth is that without a bailout the Greek government will default. If Greece defaults, it would be a huge nightmare for world financial markets.

#5 Neil MacKinnon, an analyst at VTB Capital, is warning that a Greek implosion could set off a 2008-style financial crisis....

"The risk of a 'Lehman moment' for the eurozone is increasing"

#6 Spain is also potentially a major problem. The Spanish economy is more than twice the size of the Greek, Irish and Portuguese economies combined. Over the past 12 months, the yield on 10 year Spanish bonds has been rising steadily, and many believe that Spain could be the tipping point that pushes the sovereign debt crisis in Europe over the edge.

#7 State and local governments all over the United States are cutting their budgets and are implementing brutal austerity measures. For example, one small town in Alabama has actually decided that they are simply going to stop paying pension benefits to their retirees. In other areas, teachers and police officers are being fired in massive numbers. UBS Investment Research is projecting that state and local governments in the U.S. will combine to slash a whopping 450,000 jobs by the end of next year.

#8 The middle class in the United States is being systematically ripped to shreds. The poorest 50% of all Americans collectively own just 2.5% of all the wealth in the United States at this point.

#9 It is never a good sign when even the big Wall Street banks start laying off workers. CNBC is reporting that Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and many other big firms on Wall Street are planning some large staff reductions in the months ahead. That is a very bad sign for the economy.

#10 Things have gotten so bad that some mainstream media outlets are actually encouraging Americans to go out and start racking up credit card debt once again. For example, one recent USA Today article was actually entitled "More credit card debt might be good for the economy". Of course the big banks are ready to suck the lifeblood out of anyone that does slip up on making their credit card payments. One major bank has announced that a single late payment could result in a penalty rate as high as 29.99%.

#11 According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the share of national income being taken home by American workers is at a post-war low and is rapidly declining.

#12 Reuters is reporting that many of Wall Street's biggest banks plan to cut their use of U.S. Treasuries starting in August. China has already been dumping short-term U.S. debt. But if most of the big players abandon the market, who is going to buy up the massive amounts of debt that the U.S. government needs to issue?

#13 Dean Baker of the Center for Economic and Policy Research apparently believes that we are already in a depression....

"At some point, the pain of high unemployment may lead to some new thinking in Washington – but until that time, welcome to the second Great Depression"

#14 The U.S. banking system could plunge into disaster at any moment. The FDIC is backing up 7 trillion dollars in deposits with an insurance fund that barely has anything in it.

#15 It seems like almost everyone is talking about the next financial collapse. Renowned investor Jim Rogers recently said the following....

"I would expect to see some serious problems in the foreseeable future….By 2011, 2012, 2013, 2013, I don’t know when, we’re going to have an economic slowdown again."

#16 Legendary hedge fund manager Mark Mobius is bracing for the worst. Just consider the following quote from Mobius that recently appeared in Forbes magazine....

There is definitely going to be another financial crisis around the corner," says hedge fund legend Mark Mobius, "because we haven't solved any of the things that caused the previous crisis."

#17 Between 2007 and 2010, U.S. GDP grew by only 4.26%, but the U.S. national debt soared by 61% during that same time period. It is clearly unsustainable for our debt to be growing so much faster than our economy is.

#18 Peter Yastrow, a market strategist for Yastrow Origer, recently told CNBC the following....

"Interest rates are amazingly low and that, thanks to Ben Bernanke, is driving everything," Yastrow said. "We’re on the verge of a great, great depression. The [Federal Reserve] knows it."

#19 The American people are extremely pessimistic about the economy right now. According to one recent poll, 56 percent of Americans have lost sleep due to the economy and about three-quarters of Americans believe that the nation is on the wrong track.

Bottom line, dummy DwarF, is that the collapse of our economy is happening RIGHT NOW, as I've been predicting for ~7 years...

B) You ARE an asshole and seeing you IS seeing three. That's what your "chief" was telling you. If you, Erica, see MORE than three go look in the mirror and see the FIRST three.

Hmmm... So, by presenting facts- despite all your twisting and gyrations, despite your strict adherence to the Rules of Disinformation- I piss you off so bad that you consider me to be as bad as THREE other posters?

It means I'm getting through, DESPITE your best efforts! Thanks for the excellent feedback! Much appreciated! LOL.

C) Stone has no balls. He's well known to have no balls and it's not surprising, given your penchant for wearing skirts, heels and lipstick, that you'd hide behind someone with no balls and egg him on. And I have no record on FR...if I made 20 posts there I've probably over estimated by 5...

Yeah, riiiiiiiight.... LOL. Going back to the rules of disinformation. Nice mixing of them, BTW. You FAIL.

D) I still look forward to the day that we may meet, Erica. Posting the Youtube video of you taking those last few puzzled blinks and gasps will be a very happy day on the internet indeed.

You and your fellow traitors- who happily enable the overt destruction of my country, and the installation of a socialist police-state- will pay the price for your treachery.

Now STFU, punk. I grow tired of b!tch-slapping you... it's starting to get boring.

How's the dummy gonna' learn, if you keep doing his homework for him?

Wikipedia has this to say about referring to oneself in the third person: Similarly illeism is used with an air of grandeur, to give the speaker lofty airs. Idiosyncratic and conceited people are known to either use or are lampooned as using illeism to puff themselves up or illustrate their egoism.

Further, the dummy needs to know that using another's copyrighted material without crediting the author is akin to stealing.
