I first saw this girl sing on the tv show America Has Talent,and was literally shocked at both her talent and her stage presence. This,despite her singing opera,which in MY list of likes and dislikes generally falls between disco and rap. I swear that if I listen to her very much she will turn me into an opera fan. David Foster is producing her first LP,and I saw them both performing live on tv yesterday and today. He is pretty well known in the music biz,and you can see him playing the piano in the background as she sings. The looks of adoration he throws her way when she nails the difficult notes tells the whole story on what he thinks of her and her talent. I honestly think he is in awe of her talent,and that's saying something. And here she is singing the first pop song I ever heard her sing. She just recently turned 11 years old.
BTW,her first LP is due to be released today,and according to David Foster she wrote the title track. He said he suggested to her when they started on the album (she was 10 at the time)that she try writing some lyrics,and so far she has written 50 songs.
Mike,here is the first video clip of her that I tried to post,but for some reason didn't show up. Check this out. It is absolutely amazing. Her voice is so beautiful I almost get teary listening to her sing.
