On most of the stops, Palin hasn’t lingered: she didn’t see the slave quarters or take the cruise at Mount Vernon; she spent only 20 minutes at Fort McHenry, 30 minutes at the National Archives; under an hour at Gettysburg and Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Really, just long enough for a photo op, to answer a couple of questions from reporters and to sign some paraphernalia for supporters. And her staff is leaking to select reporters where and when she’s going next in case they lose the bus. But, really, it’s all coincidence.

30 minutes at the archives? Less than an hour at Gettysburg? You could spend a full day at Gettysburg and still miss half of the sites. Seriously?
"Thats because your basically and idiot." It has nothing to do with her seeing the sites; it's all about her being seen. That's what attention whores do.
I remember taking a guided tour of Mount Vernon years ago. I think it lasted about an hour.
The House alone can take an hour. I've been there several times. I have a buddy in Dumfries. If you take the time to visit the entire grounds you'll be there for 3-4 easily.
America...My Kind Of Place... "I truly am not that concerned about [bin Laden]..." A Baltimore based customer of mine took his kids to DC and was at the Archives. They halted everyone from going in for about an hour while they arrived, toured and left.

America...My Kind Of Place... "I truly am not that concerned about [bin Laden]..." they have a wonderful new visitor center that takes a good hour to see. The house is another hour, then there are the grounds/tombs. It's easily a half a day to see everything, especially if you go into the underground areas.
