Peter Fonda, the star of Easy Rider, says he is training his grandchildren to use rifles for a conflict with President Barack Obama. Lars von Trier, who was banned from Cannes for praising Hitler, was not the only one making unsavoury comments at the film festival. Peter Fonda, the star of Easy Rider, suggested to Mandrake that he was encouraging his grandchildren to shoot President Barack Obama. “I’m training my grandchildren to use long-range rifles,” said the actor, 71. “For what purpose? Well, I’m not going to say the words 'Barack Obama’, but …” He added, enigmatically: “It’s more of a thought process than an actuality, but we are heading for a major conflict between the haves and the have nots. I came here many years ago with a biker movie and we stopped a war. Now, it’s about starting the world. “I prefer to not to use the words, 'let’s stop something’. I prefer to say, 'let’s start something, let’s start the world’. “There’s no room any more for a cissy and, like I said, don’t forget that I’ve got grandsons who I’ve trained with long-distance rifles. We have to run like mofos to change this world.”

Peter (Wyatt/Captain America, in Easy Rider) getting blown away with a shotgun by statists in the movie, might have had something to do with it. Not real well I suspect. Over twenty years ago, I lived in the Peoples Republic of Santa Monica (CA) under the rule of mayor Tom Hayden, and his wife Jane Fonda. It got so bad back then that you couldn't raise the hood of your car, on your property, to check the oil unless the car was under a roof. No working on vehicles out in the open was allowed. This was a real business killer as outside lifts for motor homes and trucks could no longer be used unless you built a building around them. Try getting a permit for that, from the communist thugs at city hall!

BTW,anybody else notice the irony of a One-Worlder whining about what he thinks is a President for Life? And this child of wealth who is himself a multi-millionaire with probably 100 million or more considers himself to be a "have not". Imagine that. I came here many years ago with a biker movie "CAME here"? He was for all practical purposes BORN there,since Cannes is no more than an extension of Hollywood. and we stopped a war. Now, it’s about starting the world. WOW! Talk about delusions of grandeur! I remember when Easy Rider came out and have seen it several times,and I don't remember any anti-VN war connection whatsoever. Not even the anti-war media made any connection. How could they,since the story revolved around two real bikers,and bikers were overwhelmingly pro-war and pro-freedom. They had to be because they knew under communism all freedom dies and they would become enemies of the state. BTW,anybody wanna bet that HIS door doesn't get kicked down by government agents looking for his guns? Any non-famous person that says such a thing that doesn't have millions of dollars would be sitting inside a jail cell today wondering what happened. This loon is rich,famous,and connected to the Hollywood left,so he is untouchable.
