KABUL (Xinhua) -- Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar has been killed in Pakistan, a private television channel reported Monday. "Mullah Omar was killed on way from Quetta to North Waziristan, " TOLO television said in its news bulletin. However, it did not provide details on how he was killed and by whom. Meanwhile, a security official confirmed the killing, saying, " it is correct that Mullah Omar has been killed." But he did not disclose details.
