An area, btw, that most residents are 1000 years removed from having any "relative" having lived there but kling to some delusionally insane religious belief that they were "chosen" for that land..

But, like I said, this devotion to Israel by the right wing in America is based on racial and or religious hatred of Arabs/Muslims/Catholics/Eastern Christians (the Protestants seem to ignore or in some cases cheer on the destruction of non Protestant Christian Arabs), and end times rapture nut stuff where Israel is supposed to be where the USA and Israel (and England) fight off Russia or China or "the EU" aka anti- Christ in one last battle before Jesus comes and kills everyone off.
