If you want Michele Bachmann to run for president, show her — with a $50 check. The Minnesota congresswoman sent an email to supporters Friday directing them to a single-question poll asking if they're satisfied with the current GOP 2012 field — and then demonstrate to her if they want her to run next year by donating $50 or $100.
"I've put together a quick one-question poll I'd like to ask you to take by following this link," the Minnesota congresswoman wrote in the email from her congressional campaign committee. "It asks if you are satisfied with the current field of Republican presidential candidates. Please take a moment right away to take the poll and let me know what you think."
She added: "After taking the poll, I'm asking you to stand with me once more and to play a vital role in my next race as I consider my options of running for reelection to the House or seeking higher office. If you want me to continue fighting the big-government Obama agenda in the U.S. House of Representatives, please make a generous donation of $25. If you want me to seek the Presidency, please make a donation of $50 or even $100 to let me know I can count on you.
