Periodically the Marxist-media drags out a gaggle of air-headed pseudo-“celebrities” and idiot doctors who extol the marvels of a vegan diet, a diet in which no animal products are consumed. Generally, such articles proclaim the wondrous health benefits and the ethical superiority of Veganism, without explaining its inherent dangers. Well people a vegan diet is utter insanity. The human animal has extended canine teeth for a reason: it’s a requirement for us to eat meat in order to stay alive! Human animals must eat meat because we’d die without the vitamin B-12 obtained from eating animals or animal products. In nature, that’s the only way we can obtain B-12. Period. Vitamin B-12 is far different than other vitamins. It’s a gigantic molecule that has a single atom of cobalt at its center, and in fact the chemical name for vitamin B-12 is cobalamin. In nature, vitamin B-12 is made only by bacteria, and it works its way up the food chain, starting somewhere along the line with bacterial symbiosis. Because only bacteria can capture cobalt from the environment and fix it in organic form, all living animals are dependent for their existence on cobalt-fixing bacteria. Healthy adults who have eaten animal products all their life will have about a 10 year supply of B-12 stored in their liver. After that gets used up, say, while on a vegan diet or from pernicious anemia or other mal-absorption syndrome, they die. Unfortunately, children don’t have this reserve, so feeding a child a vegan diet is criminal negligence since such a diet will lead to the child’s death from B-12 deficiency and is thus tantamount to murder. Period. Oh, and what of those that take an artificial B-12 supplement to make up for the insanity of a vegan diet? Well now, just how natural can a diet be that requires you to consume a substance made in a high tech industrial pharmaceutical facility in order not to die from your oh so wonderfully perfect and “healthy” diet?

Why do right wing kooks equate diets and music and movies with right wing or left wing. I remember a discussion I had where I said I was not into Country Music much. That got the Bushbot kook I was conversing with saying that only leftists like Rock music and true patriots listen to country music - except the Dixie Chicks......

Why do you hate Seventh Day Adventists, so much? There are millions of them who seem to do quite well on a vegan diet, and.... hint, hint... many vote Pubby and just loved your hero George Bush. Plus they generally have longer life spans than the typical populations in their areas. Another hint... they also take lots of brewers yeast, a natural product high in B12.
Their primary aim is "divided we fall". Consider them traitors.
Which means beer is high in B12 because the ETOH level isn't high enough to the inactivate it. I would think any "chemical engineer" would be well versed in this.
We all know the Left isn't Vegan..... Quite a few of them have a tubesteak diet...

I'm close to being a vegetarian. I basically eat what farmers ate since the agrarian revolution 10,000 years ago -- vegetables, grains, eggs, milk, fish... Once in a great while you slaughter a chicken or a hog and have a feast. It's much healthier than stuffing your face with meat 3 or more times a day. However, the vegan diet is very dangerous because it eliminates all animal products. In addition to B12, the body needs protein (found in fish, milk, eggs and cheese); calcium (found in milk and cheese); antioxidants like Selenium (found in Fish and eggs) and Omega 3 fatty acids (found in fish), etc... Feeding your child a vegan diet is insanity.
So when was the last time you heard someone say that those on the LEFT are sane?????

I know lots of vegans here in Eugene and they all are very healthy. When I broke my arms badly and was having to cut my activities I ate vegan for six months and stayed very healthy, didn't cut my food intake, and didn't gain a pound. I ride bicycles and do a lot of walking and have way more muscle mass than your average vegan, so unless I eat cheese, eggs and meat occasionally; usually three or four times a week, I would not have the energy to do what I do. One reason I do stay light on the meat intake is my family tends toward high blood pressure and would have it right about now at age 57 if I didn't exercise and watch my diet. I know vegan to be a viable choice. However, people who extend their vegan-ism to the point where they won't eat if the food was prepared in pots meat has been cooked in, of try to make the dog or cat eat vegan are slightly obsessive and irrational in their zeal for their love of vegan-ism.
Well, what do they do for vitamin B-12? try to make the dog or cat eat vegan are slightly obsessive Slightly? They are fucking wackjobs who should be arrested for animal cruelty.
Now, I know I’m not going to change the minds of any of the True Believers…those who read all of Reverend Al’s sermons, and say things like, “You know, global warming can mean warmer OR colder, wetter OR drier, cloudier OR sunnier, windier OR calmer, …”. Can I get an ‘amen’??
Some do it with supplements, others claim that is just fiction and eat vegan without worrying about it.
My wife is a 7th Day Adventist. Before I knew her, I thought they were pretty much kooks like JWs. They are pretty normal aside from their weird dietary beliefs. Even they acknowledge that it is biblically ok to eat meat, yet want to enforce vegetarianism.
Now, I know I’m not going to change the minds of any of the True Believers…those who read all of Reverend Al’s sermons, and say things like, “You know, global warming can mean warmer OR colder, wetter OR drier, cloudier OR sunnier, windier OR calmer, …”. Can I get an ‘amen’??
