To the "mainstream" media that installed Barack Hussein Obama in office: good luck getting the American people to credit the Manchurian Moonbat for the demise of his near-namesake; you're going to need it.
You can fool most of the people most of the time, but despite what our liberal elite rulers may think, we're not all idiots. Obama has gone out of his way to dismantle the Bush policies that led to lead through bin Laden's brain.
The simple truth is Owe-bama did whats expected of ANY POTUS in this situation. Thats why the 'bump' is negligible compared to others we've seen regarding military actions.
Nobody was questioning Owe-bama's efforts to nail bin Laden before we got him last week. They were/are questioning his economic policies, which strike home to every voter, and which simply haven't worked.
In fact, the argument can be made his policies have made things much worse, and any recovery that much longer coming.
Whats really laughable is those claiming 'Republicans can't challenge Owe-bama on international policy because he got bin Laden...'
Utter nonsense. This doesn't change the fact he doesn't have a coherent policy in the Middle East, he's offended every traditional ally this nation has post WWII, and his ass kissing of baby Hugo in Venezuela, the monkey man in Tehran, haven't produced anything but scorn from them both.
