'Cause in the real world of rational adults, evidence is required to make the label stick. Accusations without proof often backfire - if you know what I mean.
The irony of a uber liberal daring to even think this, let alone post it, is hilarious, given the eight years of insane accusations towards Bush, goofy.
I usta be a conservative before conservatives took a flying leap off the deep end.

Conservatives haven't changed. Republicans have changed tremendously. If you're saying that the Republican party has changed, and you couldn't change with them, then I could understand that. But conservatism is conservatism, and hasn't changed. The views and ideology have not changed. If you used to be a conservative but are now a liberal, then YOU have changed. And not just a little bit. A complete 180 degree flip in political ideology is no minor change.
And trying to get two people to agree on the definition of conservatism is harder than pulling teeth.
A basic tenet of "real conservatism" is no compromise.
....or admitting when one is wrong.
...and when mistakes are made, deny the perp is a conservative.
Yep... self proclaimed 'conservatives' are great at throwing their less than perfects under the bus.
No wonder that there are only 4 or 5 real conservatives.
