Title: Some Moron On Internet Plots For AQ Their Next Attack On Americans

I'd never believe this about the GOP if I didn't see it with my own eyes. We know how they have been handed their ass this week and we know how they have been behaving. But here we have some some poster on a pro-GOP board overtly giving AQ a plan to terrorize America:

I'm actually relieved al Qaeda's allowing ego to trump common sense here.

Derailing trains? Really? Thats a pretty complicated attack plan given the logistics required. If it wasn't complicated, we'd see it a lot more, via various nutcases not associated with jihadists to be blunt.

My greatest fear remains four al Qaeda types walk into Mall of America from the four points on the compass, shooting everyone they see, and as a result herding those fleeing them into the central food court, where they then self detonate.

The aftermath to our economy would be staggering, as would the horror and shock of the event itself. Further...could ANY other type of attack be easier to pull off?

Nope.

So I'm glad they are under the impression they have to 'top' 9/11/01. It also tells you they don't really have a clear understanding of HOW to devastate us. Its actually a huge blind spot for them when you think about it for ten minutes.

Wow...your first post here was to me?

I am BURSTING with pride...

Boofer tell you to come over? He needs all the help that he can get.

Then you're even easier than even I could imagine, and I have quite the imagination.

To one person. Julliette. She was banned and couldn't have outed Cement Mixer.

You read our PM's.

As I said...it's no big deal...

My point to badeye was that there was no reason to ban me there. I comported myself relatively politely - more politely than I was treated by Rap and Queen et al - something you, yourself acknowledged to me. Hell, when they banned me, they didn't even have the common courtesy to tell me why. Nor did they have the decency to SAY I was banned. I'm on an attitude adjustment period whatever the hell that was supposed to mean.

Let;'s face it; badeye came back and you told him I was there and he then demanded that I be banned. Hell, he had demanded that I not even be allowed to register. He had to libel me to the little old ladies over there by making up some horsehit story that I had tried to destroy his business.

You see...I'm in Badeye's skull 365/24/7...I give him a day off every Leap Year. He usually celebrates with a bowl of LaRosa's chili. He loves it. Can't get enough of it.

Anyway, it's nice to "see" you. Stick around...engage. It's a little rougher here but I believe that you and Stone will get along well.

Like I said, your prejudices are too strong to let you accept anything I might post that doesn't fit with them. I will say, however, that my skills are not technical, they are research-oriented. My technical "skills" go no further than being able to read the forums at the simplemachines website and - again with my research skills - search that site for the obvious fixes to the obvious problems.

The thing about research skills is this: when you have the wealth of resources the internet offers - riches that, were they gold rather than information, would make a beggar out of Croesus - you find a lot of stuff, particularly if you're patient.

To quote the good folks over at George Mason University:

"What is the difference between causation and correlation?

One of the most common errors we find in the press is the confusion between correlation and causation in scientific and health-related studies. In theory, these are easy to distinguish — an action or occurrence can cause another (such as smoking causes lung cancer), or it can correlate with another (such as smoking is correlated with alcoholism). If one action causes another, then they are most certainly correlated. But just because two things occur together does not mean that one caused the other, even if it seems to make sense."

A little simpleton are ya? As opposed to describing:

As a result of academia, why don't YOU personally go out of the way and answer the same?

Just a minor reference point: this is a political channel. Politics has little to do with any of the sciences in mathematics, physics, chemistry or related fields.

At the risk of belaboring the point, why would I waste time on a denial that you would never accept, no matter how truthful?

As to sources, consider: your distinctive posting style, a willingness to wade through 40 or 50 google hits, a shrewd guess or two, and your reactions to those guesses.

True enough, politics has very little to do with anything that calls for much sustained thinking; of course, that explains why the confusion over correlation and causation is even more rife on political fora than in the press.

why would I waste time on a denial that you would never accept, no matter how truthful?

That is a dilemma only you can solve since you have arrive at LF to create the rhetorical riddle written within your own mind.

Again, OC, I really don't care. I enjoyed my time there. I had some good exchanges - among them were with you. I made a friend in Julliette. And when I was banned, some posters left.

But most importantly, I made my point to Boofer which is that he is a petty little man who simply can't stand the truth about himself.

Sorry guy, you don't get to set the terms. Since there is no information sitting out there with a statement from _________ f. __________-___________ saying "I am war who posts on libertysflame, and am Cement Mixer who posts on gopbriefingroom," connecting the dots necessarily required using all available information, including whatever personal information was posted online, for all to see, without any thought to retaining any "privacy" about it - if you voluntarily post personal information on publicly accessible websites, you cannot take it back just because you're afraid that someone you don't like might see it.

So, once again, I am going to ask you: do you really want me to connect the dots? If not, then stop casting aspersions on me in the absence of any objective, corroborating evidence.

You've actually brought me to the point of I don't give shit. You read my PM's. It was well known there that you had done it before - as per several other posters who knew for a fact that you read them. And the smoking gun with me is the fact that when I told a poster, via PM, that I was WAR, suddenly you began dropping hints on the board that you knew. IN fact, at the point I so confessed I was warned in reply that you would know.

Why you feel the need to play this cat and mouse tap dance is beyond me. You're hardly anonymous yourself as you also know from my PM's.

So, tell me...don't tell me...you've killed any curiosity that I may have had and your contorting has simply confirmed what I already knew. YOu read people's PM's.
