ntelligence garnered from waterboarded detainees was used to track down al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and kill him, CIA Chief Leon Panetta told reporters on Tuesday. "Enhanced interrogation techniques" were used to extract information that led to the mission's success, Panetta said during an interview with anchor Brian Williams. Those techniques included waterboarding, he acknowledged. While President Barack Husein Obama, D-Kenya, seems to take all credit for the successful raid, he has completely forgotten that he harshly criticized President Bush for allowing waterboarding of terrorist suspects. In October 2007 Senator Barack Obama said… “Torture is how you get bad information, not good intelligence.” In April 2009. President Barack Obama told us: "...waterboarding authorized by former President George W. Bush was torture and that the information it gained from terror suspects could have been obtained by other means." One of Obama's first acts after becoming President was to issue an executive order banning waterboarding. Once again… Barack Obama were proven wrong. Now we find this out that waterboarded terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed gave the US the code name of Osama’s courier. Officials say CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden. Current and former U.S. officials say that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden’s most trusted aides. The CIA got similar information from Mohammed’s successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.

Eight officials are now on record saying waterboarding not only works, it works exceedingly well, and produced the information that led to the killing of bin Laden. But hey, lets quote Newsmax....(eyes rolling)
