Anybody want to guess what might happen if a new Osama bin Laden video pops up outta nowhere in another week or so saying "HA HA you Missed"?????

Since there has been no activity by him (except before elections). Since he was reported to be getting Kidney treatment. And lots of other stuff I think it is a fair conclusion.
I haven't seen him/her post for awhile. The truth is, that monicker showed up right after the GREAT PASSWORD CT occurred. The only reason why I remember its posts is because of its tagline which by LF's own standards was not only funny but impressive besides being well-built. I don't have a tagline; it clutters up the screen and wastes BW. Another thing that was impressive (to me) was that monicker was too fuckin' nice in its posts for a chit-chat political channel. What is the point of being "nice" and semi-formal in discussion when the goal is to get right into a food fight and state an opinion and sling it out thereafter? I love these barroom brawls; the more I see the sparks going off, the chairs smashing the windows and mirrors, the guns blazing and the whiskey bottles flung; the fist fights and so forth ... the better; sometimes, for hours, I am in such riveted belly-laffter that I can't type; although, admittedly I rarely contribute posting to them. But that Clyven was sneaky about something because it appeared right when "yukon" lost his password. It appeared on two different channels that I know of, here and 4um. I was accused of being Clyven there too, although it was never PROVEN; in fact, on 4um, I was already posting AND as I have said before I don't run multiple-clients. When Stone kept limiting my posts on LF or screwing around with the titles of threads or deleting comments of threads, I joined TBF because nolu-chan was posting some good analysis about this "yukon" issue. I have only made a few posts there as it is a rather subdued chit-chat channel and the keen analysis (although refreshing and well received on several topics of interest) is limited in barroom brawl content that I really enjoy. There is a monicker there, "the talking mouse" which I assume is whom A K A Stone makes reference towards, as well. Again, I don't run multiple-clients; that person is completely unique and is not myself posting. Stone, can YOU GET IT THROUGH YOUR FAT SKULL that I don't run multiple-clients? If you can CATEGORICALLY PROVE THAT I AM DOING THAT, SHOW THE DATA OR DROP THE SUBJECT.

You are so confused about phrasing that which you want to state, you don't make any sense half the time. Take a minute and use your own forum with purpose and clarity. As an example: What the HELL does that mean? What are you attempting to state beyond playing around? Use your forum as an opportunity to state an idea with precision and accuracy.

When have EVER been "nice" to anyone? You know, I get a "kick" out of folks that think these political chit-chat forums are about making "friends." They are so far out on the Moon or beyond because of that viewpoint that I frequently ignore them and rarely comment because they don't know what they are suggesting or otherwise eluding to. Internet political chit-chat forums are not akin to FACEBOOK and "friends" ... this is the WildWest out here.... YEEHA! And I love it.

I don't make anywhere the total sum of posts that you personally perform in any given time period. And I am not at odds to those that "seek a sense of camaraderie." The truth is, the Internet is NOT a logical place for such relationships; those that aspire towards "camaraderie" should coalesce with their local, political friendly clubs in person that cater towards the orientation and formation of a similar viewpoint. The truth is: the goal for me is viewing varied and diversified perspectives to regard the world around us; the larger I see the political spectrum, the better for me. I could care less for clustering in a huddle making palsie-wowsies as LP and FR are famous for.

The attorneys most active in fighting Las Vegas copyright enforcement company Righthaven LLC now want to participate in a potentially pivotal case involving copyright infringement allegations against the Pahrump Life blog. Attorneys representing Righthaven defendant the Democratic Underground and another group of attorneys representing the Media Bloggers Association asked U.S. District Judge James Mahan in Las Vegas on Friday for permission for the Democratic Underground and the bloggers group to participate as friends of the court in the Pahrump Life case. They sought to participate by filing briefs and potentially appearing at Pahrump Life hearings. The Pahrump Life case is important in the Righthaven litigation as Mahan — who has already ruled against Righthaven on fair use grounds in another case — is now threatening to find Righthaven doesn’t have standing to sue over content allegedly misappropriated from the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Righthaven, meanwhile, has lined up a star attorney from New York to help defend its right to sue. Based on past experience in the fair use decision, Mahan is likely to allow the Democratic Underground and the Media Bloggers Association to participate in the Pahrump Life case. (more in link) Buck, he isn't even on the radar of Righthaven, the law firm suing forums for alleged fair use violations because they allow about four paragraphs if copywritten news pieces to be reposted with links to the source. And Stone's forum is something those people would have a field day with if they cared to go after it, because not only entire pieces are cut and pasted, but they are altered too. So I don't know what is more pathetic; the fact Stone does fair use so bad, or that people are being sued on fair use issues who are more responsible in how they comply with the most careful interpretation of the concept.
There are none of their articles on this site.
Righthaven is a law firm that specializes in suing sites like this one for fair use violations. I wouldn't worry Stone, you don't have a deep enough pocket for them to be interested in trying to sue you. But if your traffic ever became good enough, that would change.

over the past few months the management here (I won't mention any names but their initials are: A K A Stone) has consistently deleted posts, changed thread topic titles, suspended good posters, banned good posters, ensured harm on good poster's LF standing, sought coalition with other posters of another website, timed good LF posters out, spied on good poster's IPs, stated good posters are malicious and harmful to LF because of cheap rumours, caused unnecessary grievance and destruction towards the free and responsible use of the Internet and beyond all of the above, deserves a suspension from management duties so that responsible posters, such as myself can fully achieve the broadcasting power that my pen wields.
