The head of the CIA admitted yesterday that there was no live video footage of the raid on Osama bin Laden's compound as further doubts emerged about the US version of events. Leon Panetta, director of the CIA, revealed there was a 25 minute blackout during which the live feed from cameras mounted on the helmets of the US special forces was cut off. A photograph released by the White House appeared to show the President and his aides in the situation room watching the action as it unfolded. In fact they had little knowledge of what was happening in the compound. ----- Mr Panetta also told the network that the US Navy Seals made the final decision to kill bin Laden rather than the president.

I call B.S. on the "video got cut off" nonsense. He sounds grifty, like Clinton did.

Lowering taxes increases revenue. Your side has not called anything right for a long time. Such as? Invading Iraq Lowering taxes on the rich creates jobs. Iraq had WMD. Borrowing money to fund the wars rather than raise revenue. Reducing the Afghanistan troops to switch them to Iraq.

And now they're having to lie about their lies. I've purposefully kept my distance from this story, waiting for the contradictions. They're coming fast and furious. Further, the 'death' of Bin Laden closes one era and so by definition opens another. The State has to have that 'curtain call ASAP or like 9/11, people will realize that we were in recession BEFORE 9/11 happened. Don't let the sheeple start thinking....

Bush did not kill terrorist - he went to war with Iraq that had zero to do with terror attacks against America.

Check those Iraqi demographics, seems to be an outlier regarding able bodied men.

They're watching video and now are saying otherwise. Seems clear.
The pictures of the Bin Laden coumpound showed many peiece of the that aviation unit's lost bird. ((the Night Stalkers) If it had been a run of the mill Army utility helicopter, they could of pulled a couple avianic's pieces and left it to recover from Pakistan later. But the 160th's birds have many secret additions to them that made it nessesary to blow up. It's a shame too. As a former Army aviation helicopter crew chief, I had to see a nice bird die like that.
You should share your wifi with Obama. His feed failed. :(

One of the many reasons I've avoided news on the 05/02/11 raid. I've heard that the helo was not destroyed. I'm thinkin' the crash was when Hillary's got her hand over her mouth.... ;}
And you're not going to. Until there's another storym where they 'splice in' some 'reality' from this raid. I asked my wife a question last nite per the 60 Minutes interview: "Are we at war with Pakistan now? ;}

Ask Panetta/Clinton...They're the BIG decision makers. :)
Panetta seems to have outflanked Hillary: "Panetta opines that had Osama surrendered he would have been taken alive as per CIA policy (one wonders how and when that is exactly followed). Obama clearly stated that the mission was a search and kill type operation. If the former is believed and as we are now told that Osama bin Laden was not armed, then why was a second shot required to make sure he was dead? Surely he could have been shot in the leg as was his alleged wife and taken alive. The reality is that nobody is quite sure what the law is anymore as it can only be interpreted by those that are prosecuting the War on Terror."
In an interview with PBS, Mr Panetta said: "Once those teams went into the compound I can tell you that there was a time period of almost 20 or 25 minutes where we really didn't know just exactly what was going on.
