I have been in Halloween riots at the University of Oregon campus that make this look like a child's picnic. It is interesting to me because the sound cannon and equipment were a response clearly out of proportion to the situation where they were used.
This shows intent to use minor situations to train with this equipment, and intent to condition the public to this sort of technology to be used to suppress the right to assemble and freely associate.

Yup. If they have it,they will find an excuse to use it. It's human nature.
Which is why the police in this country should NEVER be allowed to have things like machine guns. And yes,I DID write "allowed". Police aren't citizens that have a Constitutional Right to own or possess firearms. They are agents of the state.
