SMU students and other Dallasites held posters Sunday night in front of former President George W. Bush’s home in Dallas thanking him for his dedication to the country after news of Osama bin Laden’s death came down. The home on Daria Place in Preston Hollow, about a mile north of SMU, was a meeting place for Bush fans and those celebrating the death of man who the U.S. government holds responsible for the worst terrorist act on American soil.

.... For invading Iraq instead of pursuing Bin Laden leaving free and happy for almost ten years on the debunked pretense that Iraq had something to do with 9 11. Complete and utter nonsense. bin Laden killed over 3,000 Americans. Bush used that opportunity to avenge what the neo-commies thought was his father's mistake -- failure to remove Saddam in the Gulf War. 9/11 had nothing whatsoever to do with Saddam. Bush was more concerned with his family's legacy than the country. Bush lost focus on bin Laden. I HATE Obamna because of his condescending union bullshit and his leftist economic views. During the campaign, Obama said he would kill bin Laden. He did. Bravo to Obama for keeping his first campaign promise. Bravo.
Bin Laden and his ilk were never a threat to the existence of the nation. They could kill hundreds of Americans or thousands at a time if they got lucky but they are more of an annoyance that the Bush WH amped up into a hyped fear and used that fear to justify a power grab and a push for for an American "empire" with an emphasis on that empire establishing Israel's long term security.

Oh I lietened to Bush infer in a State of the Union speech and on other occasions that there were ties between Saddam and Bin Laden's people. Bush, Chaney and others craftfully painted Saddan and Iraq as targets deserving to be taken out busing anger and passionate feeling relating to the 9 11 distruction and deaths to white wash their illegal invasion.
