If you do any actual research on this subject you'll find that neither side believed the other. Stalin expected to get two years out of the agreement so he could build up his defenses. After watching what Germany had done to Poland I doubt the Russians had any illusions about what was coming. Stalin was just too poor a leader to anticipate it coming so soon. But getting back on point, what the hell does this have to do with anything?
