Few pundits wish to discuss the issue, but Democrats and Republicans have become nothing but two divisions of the same party -- the Demopublican Party. No matter who wins, we always get more taxes, more inflation, more bureaucracies, more wars, and less freedom.
The Demopublicans now tax over 50% of our earnings annually. They steal hundreds of billions from our savings through currency debasement. They have brought us a national debt of over $11 trillion. They have saddled us with $57 trillion in unfunded liabilities to come due on the backs of our children. They are consuming the freedom and the substance of our lives like a swarm of locusts consumes a golden wheat field.
This is the crucial issue of our time -- not energy, not education, not racism, nor any of the other "symptoms" and "pseudo-problems" that mesmerize today's punditry.
Big stultifying government is our problem. It has given us our present economic crisis, and if it is not brought under control, it will soon give us a dictatorship. Fifty years of such stultification is screaming that radical reform is needed. America desperately needs a third political party to challenge Washington and break the stranglehold that the Democrats and Republicans have over the process. But it can't be a Libertarian style party that preaches utopianism to the choir. It must be a REAL third-party that poses a genuine threat to the status quo.
What do these political terms mean, and do they still make sense in the modern world? Yes, they do! But they are being corrupted by today's political and intellectual authorities in order to advance their desires for ever-larger centralized government. What is being promoted to the American people as the political left, center, and right is a severe distortion of the facts of reality. Crypto-authoritarians have now cloned themselves throughout our universities and our media. The "political spectrum con" is one more nefarious weapon to advance their tyrannical ideology. MORE ...
More and more Americans today are coming to understand the terrible truth about our Federal Government -- that it seeks to dominate us as citizens, to mold us into a society of dutiful Stepford Wives totally beholden to the wishes of elite politicians, bureaucrats and bankers. Today's collectivists, working so assiduously to transform America, are like the aliens in the 1956 movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Only instead of taking over the bodies of Americans by use of "mysterious pods" left in their basements and backyards, today's collectivists are after the enslavement of our minds and souls. Ross Perot already showed us how an independent candidate could win.
The guy got 19% of the vote, even after we all knew he was nuts.
He got 19% by talking about common sense issues. Stop running up the debt on our kids. Stop negotiating one-sided trade deals that put us at a disadvantage. Stop allowing politicians to be exempt from laws that they force on the rest of us. On and on. Perot also opposed the Gulf War.
Trump could win this year. He has the same message as Perot. People are even more pissed off today than they were in 92. Trump is NOT nuts.
