Oh I see now... The media now will touch upon this being a hate crime NOT because the VICTIM WAS WHITE and the two OFFENDERS BEING BLACK... but because the victim was a queer transgender woman???? Fricken amazing... Blacks, Queers, Cross-Dressers, Homos and Carpet Munchers the media will stand up for...But not just a plain old white victim... The victim of a vicious beating at a Maryland McDonald's is a transgendered woman, according to a LGBT advocacy group that's calling for authorities to investigate the case as a hate crime.
The shocking video, which went viral on the Internet this week, shows the woman being kicked in the head by two girls at the Rosedale fast food chain as some of the staff stood by laughing.
At one point the attackers grab the victims' hair and dragged her across the floor. Responding officers who responded to Monday's attack found the 22-year-old woman apparently having a seizure.
The video was taken by McDonald's employee Vernon Hackett, according to the Smoking Gun.
A 14-year-old girl has been charged as a juvenile in connection with the attack and charges are pending against an 18-year-old.
"It does appear that the victim was a transgender woman, and she was brutalized while people stood by and watched," Lisa Polyak, vice president of the board of directors for Equality Maryland, told the Baltimore Sun.
"There's no excuse for that violence under any circumstances, but we would encourage police to investigate as a hate crime."
The police report does not give a motive for the beating, but quotes one of the alleged attackers as saying the fight was "over using a bathroom."
McDonald's condemned the attack in a statement calling it "unacceptable, disturbing and troubling." The company said it was working with local authorities to investigate the incident.

I don't think it is a mental illness, Stone. I have spoken, at length with some transgendered people, and they are not mentally ill or dysfunctional. It seems that there is some organic brain chemistry that is at play here. I am beginning to really understand that God created them this way for a purpose. We all have a purpose- even transgendered people. It is very complex. I have compassion for them.
Anyone who cuts off their penis is mentally ill. They are sickos.

So, you are one of these, 'hire the handicapped, they're fun to watch' freaks? First of all, the brain is the primary sex/gender organ. And some people are so imprinted with the gender they were not born physically, their life is wasted unless they live as is most comfortable to them. Transgender people have to undergo the Harry Benjamin protocol and demonstrate they are happier, better adjusted and finally feel safe within their sin by living in the role of their self identified gender for over a year. Also, male to female transgender people are not eunuchs. They undergo surgical construction of a vagina, and are even able to achieve sexual orgasm because the surgery is so precise and well developed. Not every transgender woman can undergo surgery. Because of mental lepers like you, many transgender people in the United States get to their forties and fifties and can't stand the deception anymore and transition if but to stay sane. So consequently some are too old and have medical conditions that make this surgery impossible. And I will note that those I see who can't do the surgery gain an incredible peace of mind and develop self assurance and functionability in their daily living they never had before. The protocols including the surgery are around because they work, Stone; it makes them better, happier and more functionable In a country like Thailand which is Buddhist, trans-women get transitioned in their twenties and thirties. It's no big thing over there. This is just an aspect of these people's lives they are dealing with to find themselves and be sane. You have a lot of growing up to do Stone. Mike you're nuts on this one. I'm staying out of this one, you got yourself into this..... But I will say one thing, if what DBR said is true about low testosterone, then why don't they treat them for that (in conjunction with seeing a psychiatrist) to see if it will solve their issues.... For instance, people with mental health issues get treated with medication and psychiatric visits all the time to fix their issues..... I would think the two are actually very similar in nature because they both have certain chemicals missing in the body/brain!!!!!! They just don't take the mental patients out and arbitrarily do a frontal lobotomy on them, so why do a sex change on the others????? Doing a sex change sounds like a "lab rat" or Nazi type experiment, kinda like the shock treatments they used to do on mental patients back in the day.....
Some people are treated for that- but it has to be presented to them as an option. Also many people won't speak out about their feelings, because they are so demonized- so they live a life of shame- and just believe they are faulty- and never seek options. When presented with a sex change as the only option for relief of their inner conflict- they just take it. Anyone would. The inner conflict is tormenting. If they saw themselves as normal, wanted, healthy, loved and supported- they might make some more healthy choices for themselves.
Tell them that seeing a Psychiatrist, medication and therapy are the first steps. The doctors are supposed to keep what the patient says confidential, so nobody but the 2 of them have to know the truth...... Make the sex change the very last option, after all else fails.....
It is not really that simple. All of the transgendered people, who I have spent time with, could identify that they did not feel their gender as early as 4 or 5. That is a whole lot of childhood development that is going to be tainted with a gender issue, that they may or may not be able to communicate to the adults in their lives. We are genderized at a very early age- and that is ok, I don't have a problem with that. What I would like to see is compassion given to people who suffer this complex set if issues, so they can be identified early and given healthy treatment options. But they are ashamed- much like any child who has trauma. There is no early identification of children who are transgendered, at this stage, from what I am being told, to communicate those things that you bring up. By the time a person feels comfortable *coming out of the closet* about it, they have a lifetime of defense mechanisms and coping skills, and trauma and shame. And we can see what happens - from this article. Everyone wants to feel normal and acceptable, but what is normal? If it were that easy to just be normal- everyone would choose to be the cool kid and just fit in. And Yes! I agree with you about sex change being the last option. Any surgery puts a person life at risk and should be the last option. I agree. Another thing is that the idea that all people have some sort of *normal* and conventional sexuality and gender is quite simply a lie. I am very much like a male with some things. I love racing, and cars and technology, and guitars and science- and geeky things like that. I am also a girly girl and have my hair done, nails done, wear dresses and skirts- and let men be in the lead and be a gentleman. We all have degrees of issues, and likes and dislikes, that make up our own sexuality. If we are honest- we are all wired a little differently for sexual arousal. I can't beat someone up for being gay, being kinky, being freaky, having fetishes. So I don't understand why it gets other people upset if someone has a gender issue or a sexuality issue that is different from theirs. I think it is more a matter of people accepting what is outside of the box, to allow a transgendered person to exist peacefully. They are just humans , afterall.
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. Encouraging people to mutilate themselves isn't right.
Is it mutilation to change a cleft palate to make it look more like a normal mouth? By your logic your cosmic muffin made the mouth that way. Who are they to mutilate it? If the deity of your choice made a person with both sets of genitals, is it wrong to mutilate one of the two off to make that person definitively male or female? Your problem Stone, is you only care about what you think, you never have the intellectual curiosity or human compassion to fact find before you open your mouth to insert your foot in it. Gender imprinting is systemic through one's life. And if someone started life firmly entrenched into the awareness they are male or female, but their body does not agree; why make them live with the torture of a life that makes them constantly in conflict because of a physical abnormality that does not jive with that person's mind and brain. Men and women are now known to have structural differences in the brain, and people who have a brain structured like a female's has a doable route to make the body in harmony with it. It is not mutilation if the surgery creates functional genitals of the lifelong gender identity of the person who gets the corrective procedure. This has been studied extensively, and in the DMS V, it will no longer be a dysphoria, but a recognized variant of person that has been around as long as the species has. No one who goes through the long process of living in the gender role they feel comfortable with and IDs as regrets it. In fact, such people generally do far better and lead more functional and happy lives. The Supreme Court ruled last year that gender related surgery is deductible from one's income taxes, and many countries pay for this if the person cannot afford it. Your view lacks empathy and caring for people, which is a hallmark of you. And is why you tolerate things like that thread from the racist site Padlock/No Gnu Taxes used. Unless a person is White, Christian and leads a heterosexual life with no physical modification you thumb your nose them, you have little use for them. Which in my book, doesn't even make you a decent Christian.

You have a severe problem with right and wrong in that you are your own 'god' that feels you have right and wrong pegged; that you are not an imperfect human who makes mistakes and occasionally misperceives things. You see this situation completely wrong and come from the arrogant perspective you know what's right for people and they can get bent if they disagree. Answer the question in that last post Stone; how is say a vaginoplasty not corrective surgery, if removing an extra set of genitalia is? Or do you think your God created people with blurred gender they were meant to be that way, even if it makes their chance of a normal relationship impossible. Which is what conflict between the mind and body in gender does to a trans-sexual. Or can you? You always retreat to quick one sentence answers when you are stonewalling. Which shows that subconsciously at least, you know your view has problems to it.

We are all in that boat, Stone. It comes from being human. I used to bait and hassle gays when I was in my early twenties as a way to backlash against how bigger guys picked on me in high school using that sexual orientation as a label to make my life hell. I figured out I was scapegoating others because I had not stood up to the bullies and became accountable for my own error. I give the benefit of wisdom I learned through my own mistakes, Stone. I don't approach this from any sense I am better than you or anyone else. Which is why I listen to conservative people whom I vastly disagree with; I always want to test and vett my opinions. I come to a place like this because I am open to learn, and I always try to share what I have learned. And some of the most important things I have learned are from being human and making mistakes.
Maybe there is a clue to why you are so wrong on issues like this.
So what's the deal with gay animals?
I don't know. Thought about it for a few seconds. Maybe they just like it. But lacking the knowledge of good and evil..........
We, my husband and I, have been around many different animals in our lifetime, we once owned and operated a pet shop too. We've noticed this behavior among just about every animal we had, but we don't think they are gay, most of these animals would hump a rag doll when they're in heat, just watch a dog hump someones leg if there isn't a female dog around...humans can think and make choices, animals just go by their strong instincts, or feelings at the moment.

That's what I've always thought. I've seen a Chihuahua try to hump a cat before. lol One scent of a dog in heat, and they'll hump anything that has the scent. Also, they'll do it as a sign of dominance.
